Its being 5years since i lost my family in a car accident . We were all heading to the park to celebrate my 13th birthday, when our car had a head-on collision with a truck transporting beer . I was the only person that made it out alive . Lost my kid sister who was only 9 and my brother who was 5 along side my mom and Dad . I sustained injuries from the accidents which healed with time and left no scars physically .But the wound in my heart from the loss of my family never healed . It kept on bleeding till date .
I was taken in by my Aunt Melissa . My mom's younger sister who did her utmost best to ensure i didn't feel the absence of my family . Now i wouldn't say life was entirely bad for me but it wasn't exactly great either . Aunt melissa was married to An Australian man Uncle Zack of age 45 with whom she had two kids with . My cousins Lim and Lin. I was welcomed into the family and treated like part of it .
I'd gone cold and didnt care much bout life , Said very little and only when absolutely necessary , had developed an attitude and eventually didnt have many friends . Had gone through high school completely with good grades and was hoping to study medicine in college and become a doctor in future . I'd manage to get a best friend though who had no trouble dealing with my attitude . His name is Derrick Payton. we've been friends since i was 14th and probably till death do us path
