After walking for another few hours Sam and I got to an abandoned city. Walkers were, well you know......walking around and such. Sam motions for me to be quiet and follow behind her as she started creeping towards what looked like a drugstore. When we had got around halfway Sam accidentally kicked over a can and the noise of the can hitting the pavement resounded throughout the silent city. She turned back towards me with wide eyes as all of the zombies around us turned their heads towards us. Sam grabbed my hand and dragged me along as we hurried to get away from where the sound resonated. She pointed towards a fire escape and I nodded my head before jumping up to try and reach it. I was just a few inches short. Sam in her haste grabbed me around the waste and hoisted me up to where I could climb up. As soon as I had climbed up I turned back around to see if she was starting up but, she wasn't there. All I could see were zombies crowding around on the ground. I searched the crowd franticly, praying that I would catch a glimpse of her....fighting off the zombies. In the short time I had known her, I had grown close to her. When I had looked for around 5 minutes I sighed quietly, turned, and climbed up the rest of the fire escape. When I got to the top the sun was setting. I looked off of the top of the building sadly before settling down to rest for the time being. I laid out my supplies on the roof and thought about how long I would survive with what little I had. I still had the picture of me and my family, along with a picture of Sam that she had given me. I had my 2 changes of clothes, my water canister (now a quarter full), my meager amount of knives, around 5 cans of food and my small blanket. Now with the stuff Sam and I had collected I had that along with a few matches, a small bow and 5 arrows, and a camouflage jacket. I decided I had around 10 days worth of food, but only 2 perhaps 3 days max on water. I would have to survive with what I have for as long as I could.

AN: I will keep updating this as soon as I can, but seeing as I am at resurrection I don't know when I will be able to update. I'll do my best.
