The Festival // part 2 \\

We hurried to the festival, walking quickly towards the entrance. "Here we are." He smiled, walking inside with me. "Today is a really nice night, other then the fact it's winter." I joked. He chuckled. "Wanna ride the roller coaster?" He asked, pointing to a 290 ft. roller coaster. I gulped. "U-uh.. Okay.." I nervously responded. He patted my shoulder. "Don't worry, we'll be together." He smiled, rubbing my head, guiding me to the ride. As we waited in line, Kurapika gave me his coat. I smiled, holding onto it. We got onto the ride, sitting in the seats. The employee fastened us in, and gave us a countdown. I took deep breaths. 

"3! 2! 1!" The man yelled, pushing the button, starting the ride. I let out a small yelp, scared for my life. I tightly gripped onto the bar holding us in the seat. Suddenly, I feel Kurapika pull me close to him. He was like a shield. I blushed heavily, snuggling into him. I felt calm. I was still a bit scared, but only on the fast and curvy parts. Other than that, it was good. The ride came to a stop. I quickly got out, feeling dizzy. "There were so many turns in that.." I said, shaking my head. "Yeah.." Kurapika walked over. "Wanna go claim some prizes?" Kurapika grinned, grabbing my hand. He ran to the balloon popping center, handing some money over to the man controlling the center. He gave us some darts, and stepped away so we had a clear view of the balloons in front of us. "You can go first, Y/N." He told me, smiling. I aimed for a balloon, and threw the dart at it. My eyes lit up, I hit it! I clapped for myself, looking over to Kurapika. He was smiling and clapping as well. He aimed, and threw the dart, hitting a balloon. "Yay!" We both cheered, smiling and laughing. We both got two more chances to win a big prize. I aimed, and threw a dart. I missed. I frowned, but still clapped. Kurapika put a hand on my shoulder, "Don't worry. You'll get the next one." He smiled. I nodded, chuckling. Kurapika aimed, and threw his dart at a balloon, hitting it. "Congrats!" I smiled, clapping. He laughed. "Thank you." He smiled. I aimed, and threw my dart. I missed. I frowned. "I tried." I chuckled. Kurapika patted my head, smiling. "Hey, hey, hey! You lucky guy, has won!" The man said to Kurapika, handing him a prize. Kurapika handed the prize to me. "Really? For me?" I smiled, holding onto it. It was a pink, my melody plushie. Kurapika nodded, smiling. "Keep it." He chuckled. "Thank you!" I hugged the plushie tight, blushing. I was so happy I was with Kurapika. I closed my eyes, smiling. "Y/N. Wanna get some food? There's a cotton candy shack over there." He pointed to the shack. "Yeah, sure!" I followed beside him, as we both walked to the shack. Kurapika ordered some cotton candy for himself. "What kind would you like, Y/N?" He asked, looking at me. "Hmm.. Cherry, please!" I smiled. Kurapika ordered the cherry. He handed it to me, and walked over to a bench, motioning me to sit down beside him. 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘯𝘰𝘸? 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘢𝘺. I thought to myself. I turned to Kurapika, noticing he was staring at me, his cheeks a bit rosy. "Kurapika?" I waved. "O-oh, yes?" He replied. "I- um.." I looked down at my cotton candy. I heavily blushed. "Kurapika, I-" Before I could finished, I felt a pair of warm lips press against mine. I opened my eyes, to see that Kurapika was.. Kissing me. I dropped my cotton candy, feeling my heart speed up. I heavily blushed. Kurapika slowly pushed away, blushing. He smiled. "U-uh.." he fiddled with his fingers. "I think I'm in love with you, Kurapika!" I yelled, clenching my hands into fists. "So do I." He replied, handing me his cotton candy, for me to have. I blushed, "Really..?" I asked, dumbfounded. "Yeah." He smiled, laughing. "Who wouldn't love you? You're pretty, you have beautiful hair, and you're super nice. What's there not to like?" He blushed, smiling. "T-thank you!" I bowed my head, screaming on the inside. I was so happy. "Wanna play some more games?" He smiled, holding my hand. He stood, as I stood up with him. We played a few more games, and went on rides. We had a wonderful time. Soon, a j-pop band came to the main stage. There were lights, and loud music. We enjoyed and danced to the concert, smiling and laughing. Come midnight, we went onto the big Ferris wheel. It was lit up, and playing calm 80's music from it. We rode on it together, watching the lights on the streets below. It was around 1:00AM, and we were getting ready to head home. As we were driving, Kurapika said. "I'm so glad I met you, Y/N." He smiled. I blushed, "Yeah, me too." I smiled. After we got home, we cuddled in bed. Kurapika held me close to him, hugging me. Quickly, we fell asleep. 

I really had fun today.
