Her hands were freezing, the cold breezes that swept through her long raven hair were working up a cool headache on her temples. The damp clothes only added to the chills of the weather.

She tugged with both of her hands on the grown man's cloak which only created a slight rustle but enough to attract the man's attention.
"Uncle Toga? How much longer do we have to walk?"

"Hmm, is it that your legs hurt?"

"Not really. I mean, I can't feel them anyways so..." She trailed off in a childish mumble. Slightly curious Toga   decided to take a glance at her tiny form behind him. "S-Sia..!" Toga shouted in a panicky grunt. The little girl in her oblivion hadn't noticed the golden path of snow she had created while trekking behind her Hunter Uncle.

"Yes, Uncle?" Siastra lifted her head to look at him with a gentle smile. Toga mentally  sweatdropped at the innocent expression despite the fact that she was bleeding. He kneeled down, hunching his shoulders as he picked her up from the ground.

"You need to be more careful when you walk in the snow. There are branches and sharp objects that you might not be able to see with this thick coat of snow." He dusted her lower body off.

"Look at you... you're bleeding. And you wouldn't have even noticed it had it not been for me, with the cold numbing your feet." He said as he poked at Sia's toe, from where dripped golden and pinkish red, now a little less as the cold had probably freezed the cuts. "And with your special blood... You might attract things..."

Siastra stared at the cuts incredulously. Her mouth a gape in realization and understanding, "Ohh.."
Toga couldn't help but soften his gaze at the mere cuteness. Not many things reached past his rough exterior but this girl fascinatingly did. Even if she was a pureblood. Toga noted to later hide the blood of trail somehow.

He fastened his grip on her as he started to walk towards the wood cabin house not too far away. The smoke from the chimneys a promise of warmth. Siastra followed with her eyes.

As they almost reached the house two silver haired twins with beautiful lavender eyes popped up before them, screaming with ecstasy at the sight of their master, startling Siastra in the process. She clutched at Toga's jacket and buried her face in his neck, shivering.

He sighed. "Looks like you've scared the princess."

"Who's this Yagari-Sensei?" A boyish voice inquired, the one without the slouch. The other twin hiding behind him gave a bright grin.

"Zero, look! It's a girl!" Zero on a closer inspection realized. "Why are you carrying a girl?"

Toga sweatdropped again at the amount of explanation he'd have to give. He decided it would be better to do it with the whole family. "Invite me in first, will you? Is your mom and dad both home?" They nodded simultaneously all while keeping their eyes on the little girl curled up in their master's hands.

"So, you're telling me, the little girl is a hybrid?" Zero's father asked in his masculine voice. "How is that possible?"

Zero's mother who was currently treating the toe wound of Sia with her clinging to her as the slouching twin peered at the cuts, invading her personal space, the mother said with a smile, "What's your name, my baby girl?"
