Taken Away

A few months later, when Henry and William had finished making the last of the Funtime animatronics, they encountered an error in Circus Baby's endoskeleton. Since William knew Elizabeth wanted to see Circus Baby up close, he forbade her to go too near her as she was dangerous. 

Of course, he should've known that when kids are told not to do anything, they are convinced they should do it. So, when her father wasn't looking she quickly snuck to the back to see her. As she was admiring the robot, it turned on and extended an ice-cream to the little girl. When Elizabeth reached forward to grab the ice-cream, the claw that was holding the sweet treat suddenly jerked forward and caught Elizabeth and then retracted taking Elizabeth with it. When this happened, there was a loud screeching sound that immediately alerted William and Henry that there was something wrong.

As William and Henry rushed towards the source of the sound, William noticed that Elizabeth was missing. When the duo reached the bloodied animatronic, William immediately noticed the unmistakably familiar red bow that was usually residing in Elizabeth's hair. He nearly fell and had to grab onto his partner's arm to prevent hitting the floor. He couldn't believe this was the third death that happened in his family. He knew, without a doubt, that by this time Elizabeth's soul would have combined with that of the animatronic and that she wasn't truly dead.

He was starting to panic, how could he let this happen?! He was such a bad father, he was supposed to protect his children not let them die... Oh god, how was he going to break the news to Michael? Mike adored his little sister, he would be heartbroken if he found out...

"Mike?"

"Yes, Dad?"

"I want to tell you something."

"... Is something wrong?"

"Promise me you won't get too panicked?"

"Dad? You're worrying me... Fine, I promise."

"Uh, it's about Elizabeth."

"What is it?" Oh no, he was starting to panic.

"Alright, alright. Calm down, remember your promise?"

"... Will you tell me ALREADY?"

"..."

"Right, sorry for yelling. I'm just worried."

"She's dead."

"WHAT?!"

"She's dead."

"What do you mean, dead? How?!"

"Remember when I told you both to stay away from our workplace as there was a malfunction in Circus Baby?"

"Yes?"

"Well, Circus Baby malfunctioned and pulled Elizabeth into her endoskeleton."

"Huh? Wouldn't that mean that Elizabeth's soul is merged with that of Circus Baby?"

"How do you know that?"

"I heard you talk to Henry about this."

"Did you know about the children too?"

"Well, yes..."

"And you don't mind?"

"Not really."

"Oh, alright then."

'Well, this turned out to be better than expected', William thought. 'I didn't think he would take this so ... easily. Especially, the fact that I am a murderer.

After that day, William and Michael grew closer. Henry and William's relationship was going strong as well. But, of course, all good things come to an end.

As William and Henry were relaxing and cuddling together on the sofa, there was a knock on the door. 

"Michael, would you please get it!" William yelled out.

"Alright."

As Michael walked towards the door, he heard someone talking on the phone loudly. It seemed to be a woman. He opened the door and saw a woman with two kids, who looked like they around ten, standing outside the door.

"Um, who are you?" The woman asked with a snooty expression on her face.

"Shouldn't I be the one asking you that? I mean, this is where I live."

"I'm sorry, but this is my husband's house and these are our kids, Charlotte and Samuel."

"Alright, Ma'am, I'll call my dad and his boyfriend, you talk to them." Michael was getting frustrated at this bullheaded woman.

"Fine then." The woman somehow managed to look even more haughtier.

Michael went to his father's bedroom and said, with no small amount of annoyance. "There's a woman outside who is claiming that this house belongs to her husband. She also has two kids named Charlotte and Samuel, they must be around 10."

Henry's face had paled. "What? Why the hell is she here?"

"Do you know her, Henry? She seems like a spoiled brat." Michael was slightly surprised. Though he had suspected that the woman might have been Henry's ex-wife, he hadn't thought it would really be true.

"Yeah, she's my ex-wife. I divorced her because she dated other men while still being married to me. She took the kids with her."

"Well, what do we do about her?" William asked. 

"I'll deal with her," said Henry.

A while later, both William and Michael were astonished to see Henry's hands covered in blood and a most feral looking grin on his face.

"What? Am I not allowed to murder a particularly-spoiled brat who thinks she owns the world and by extension, everyone in it?"

"What did she say to you that you flipped out so much?"

Henry winced. "She my or may not have insulted my choice of love interests."

"Wouldn't that mean that she insulted herself?"

All the three laughed at Michael's comment about the woman's stupidity.
