Chapter 1 Kinley's POV
"Kin. Kin. KINLEY!" Harry shouted, and I finally realized he was standing right in front of me as I was perched on the couch, my head buried in my phone. I looked up to meet his impatient eyes.
"What?" I questioned, totally distracted.
"Are we going to lunch or what?"
"Oh.Oh yeah, let's go." I got off the couch, in a slight daze, looking around for my purse. Once I found it hanging from the coat hanger I grabbed it and Harry opened the door for me. I walked out into the regular overcast London weather, heading towards the famous Range Rover. Harry got in and we backed out of the driveway in silence. I pulled out my phone and started to read back into my texts again, like I had been doing all morning.
"What's so interesting on that thing?" Harry teased, knocking my phone out of my hands onto my lap. I scowled at him but couldn't help but crack a slight smile.
"What's wrong?" he asked, reading the slight sadness in my gray eyes.
"Nothing." I shook off the smile and looked out the car window.
"Don't lie." Harry abruptly said.
"I'm not."
"Now you're lying about lying. I'm your best friend Kin, you never lie to me. Something's up, tell me."
"Harry I'm fine!" I snapped a little too harshly and he furrowed his eyebrows at me, He turned his attention back to the road and changed the subject.
"So, any plans for tonight?"
"Um, I think I'm going to Andrews." I answered in a monotone as I referred to my boyfriend. We had been fighting all morning, and not to mention the last couple days. I didn't feel like telling Harry because I didn't want a big deal made out of it.
"Ooooo." He teased me like always.
"Shut up." I smiled and grabbed his Ray Bans off his nose, putting them on my face as the sun started to come out. I blared the radio as we continued to drive to Starbucks, Harry and I singing along sillily.
"So what are your plans for the rest of the day Mr.Popstar?" I asked, waiting in line in Starbucks.
"I'm going to the studio after this. To record some stuff. I think the boys will be there, wanna come?"
"No."
"Why not?" Harry questioned me, usually I always said yes.
"Because the last time I went Louis made fun of me." I recalled the moment as Harry stifled a laugh.
"You can't blame him on that one.You tripped over Josh's drums. It was pretty amusing."
"Louis will forever call me Klutzy Kinley for the rest of eternity." I pouted, crossing my arms as we moved up in line.
"C'mon love, just come." Harry poked my side.
"No."
"Pleaseeeeee. Please please please please pleaseee!" Harry whined like a little boy, and I knew I had to quickly agree before he caused a scene.
