It was warm, and soft. I felt something very strict and well built structure under my held. I slowly opened my eyes to see a figure laying down beside me. As soon as my eyes laid on towards the man, i knew who it was instantly.

Tanner laid beside me. He nuzzled up when he noticed my awakening conciousness, he smirked and said "Good morning Detective". He reached for a cigarette that has been lighten up on an ashtray and put in hanging on his mouth. He inhaled for a deep air and let out some smoke.

I stretched my arms up and then wrapped it around his waist, "Morning" i cuddled up. He put his hand on my shoulder and pulled me close. I was beginning to wonder whether i did the wrong thing or not, that I've let this psychotic man slept with me.

I just hoped for the decision did not come to waste, because i obviously had fallen in love for a mad man. Where i realized there was much more fish in the ocean, i chose to hook a Megalodon.

I hesitated to look him in the eye, seeing as how embarrassed i was. I looked around the sofa, our clothes were everywhere. He noticed my glancing so he smirked, "Enjoyed the view, Rachel?" he asked. My face became redden and it was very hard to hold it back.

He giggled and raised up, putting the cigar on the ashtray and lifted me up, he stood up with his bare body revealed. I tried to look away but he lifted my chin up and placed a kiss on my lips. "Last night you just saw me naked and now you're pathetically ignore this beauty?" he teased. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my clothes, started to put it on.

I looked at the clock hanging on the wall near by, i widened my eyes to see it had passed my morning schedule. "Shit" i mumbled. I grabbed my things and rushed towards the door, "Leaving so soon?" a voice trailed behind me.

I turned around to see Tanner already wearing his usual pair of clothing, with the white coat and red tie to perfected it. "I'm late to work, i'll be sure to give a status about the crime scene at my house" after i put on my shoes i spun around to give him a kiss on the cheek. Then i went to the precinct.

Narrator's POV
As soon as she left the mansion and the car's engine faded away from Tanner's ears, a wide grin carved on his face. His phone rung inside his pocket, he snatched it up quick and answered who ever was dialing. "Yes?" there was a long pause for him, but once the person had stopped to say any more words, Tanner then said "Well then, I'll be on my way!" he exclaimed cheerfully.

Tanner arrived at the place, it was very quiet and silent. But not after he turned to a corner of the abandoned parking building, his ears caught some noise of people speaking here and there.

There were mostly 13 people in the area containing 10 male and 3 female, some were chatting and some were just smoking and drinking. A few of them just leaning against the wall or just sitting on the edge with legs spread opened widely.

Tanner walked towards the area and adjusted his tie, having eyes glanced over to him without saying back a hello. He reached a short wall and jumped on it, sit on it while leaning his back on the pole next to it.

"Let me guess, he's late?" Tanner asked with both of his hands behind his head. A man with an eyepatch spun his head and crossed his both arms, "When is he not late" the mexican man scoffed.

A couple of minutes later, a man wearing plain black shirt with a dark brown pants appeared from the distance. He wore a fingerless gloves with his ponytailed light brown hair. When he arrived the crowd when silent.
