Before the car accident I had so many friends in school but after I went back to school in my sixth grade year I just did not spend time with my old friends anymore. They tried to talk to me for the first semester after my dad died but i ignored them and just turned into a loner.

I was usually sad at school but when i got home i got to see my little sister and I loved her. She was always happy. Rarely cried and she loved being around me. She and I would play games together all the time when she was old enough. When she was a baby she would always cry unless I was holding her.

After the first year she started playing with balls and rolling them. She tried to walk skipping the crawling stage. The next year she was walking putting blocks in holes she started learning how to potty train all while I still didn't have friends.

The only thing I did besides stay with my sister was play little league. My mom made me play and I was alright at it. I was really good at hitting the ball. I also played catcher which meant I didnt have to work with anyone except the pitcher.

I did not want to play sports but my mom told me I needed to do something to get out of the house. Her and my sister came to all of my games. I was about 13 now and my team went to the little league world series. I had to figure out my favorite baseball player and I decided it was Dylan James who was drafted right out of high school.

Even though he pitched and I caught I still enjoyed watching him. I didn't talk to many people in middle school except those on my team. We made it to the final four before losing to Georgia.

It was still fun to go away from home and play. I hit two homeruns in the final game we played. I turned 14 that summer and would be heading to high school the next year. The coaches for the baseball team were already talking to my mom trying to make sure I would play for them. We both agreed I would try for a year and if I didn't like it i could stop.

My sister was four now and she was going to start elementary school while I started high school. My mom encouraged me to join clubs and extra curricular activities. Just to make my mom happy I did debate, student government, and the chess club. I could focus on these because baseball did not start until spring semester.

I did terrible at chess and no one cared for my opinion in student government. I did well at debate though. I have always been good at arguing. When spring semester started we practiced most days.  It was fun I was also watching more baseball at home trying to say what players could have done better. In May I watched as Dylan James was on the ground after pulling his shoulder out of socket.

I felt so bad for him but my team did well in our games. I hit 15 homeruns that year. My coaches were proud and I decided to come back next year to play as well.

School ended with me only having a friend in debate and a few guys on the team. The girl from debate was named Nora she was my partner. We did really well together and she even came to watch some of my games. She also got to know my mom who still brought my sister to all my games.

I was trying to stay fit that summer while still trying to relax. I went to see my uncle on my dad's side and all of my dad's family. It was nice I missed them. We rarely saw them after he passed away.

In the middle of summer it was said that a baseball player would join our school and teach gym and help out coaching the team. Little did i know what i was getting into when I came back to school.
