The ride back to my house is reminiscent of two lovers who've been so busy trying to cover up a crime that when they're finally alone in a car, they avoid topics like love, Cree, and the impromptu desk scene, earlier--oh wait, that's us.

Zion and I let the music on the radio express how we're feeling in the car. It's the perfect set-up, the best 'break' moment, all we have to do is talk, but the more I think about it, he's probably waiting for me to say something first.

It's like he doesn't want to start a new conversation without finishing the old one. I get it too, but damn, can we at least talk about politics?

Okay, I'm lying. One 'not so dead politician in a coma' is enough.

And I refuse to talk about Antonio Cree, so that leaves the hand-drawn Zetish symbols, my glowing veins on the rooftop and--

We arrive at me and my sister 1920's brick home, just in time for a majestic sunset to cast it's golden orange hues over our elongated front porch.

As soon as we step inside, Junie and Faylayee are in the family room, waiting for us. Mister Purr's on the floor, playing with a squeaky blue sponge ball, or that's the fake impression he's showing in front of Zion.

On the second level, I hear Aunt BeeBee pacing back and forth in her room, while on the phone. Her crime board with all types of magical information is gone only Faylayee's wedding stuff remains in the room.

Once Zion and I have a seat on the love couch, my two sisters drift their eyes between us, grinning, I assume, sharing an inside joke. Even Mister Purr snickers under his breath then stop and meows, after Zion looks at him. It's not believable either.

"The suspense, Yanni," Junie blurts. "What did you find? Your text message was cryptic."

What did I find? I'm about to share a major breakthrough in less than thirty seconds, and the one sister who's been working day and night, trying to piece together a mystery, isn't down here for the big reveal.

"Zion and I..." My falter, thinking about our discovery after the steamy desk scene, but I'm glad we've all joined forces tonight. "We found a symbol on the back of the photo and it's connected to a company called RAHS Construction."

"Oh my god! Yes!" Faylayee breathes in, clapping, then frowns. "Wait... Where's the plot twist?"

"RAHS Construction. It's RAHS." I reach inside my bag, handing her a printed copy of the symbol and the Company's name. "Look at the name a little closer."

Faylayee glances at the paper then pass it off to the next sister. Junie looks at the symbol and the company's name for a few minutes, checking, analyzing, then glimpsing back at me. At first, she's tongue-tied, wondering if she should say what's on her mind, but I recognize that look, she's on the verge of figuring it out. I smile at her, raising a brow.

Meanwhile, Faylayee turns her attention towards Zion. "Do you know?"

Zion tilts his head, peeking in my direction. "I know Yanni's a mystery..."

We exchange casual glances, creating more non-verbal excitement or tension between us. Either way, his comment has nothing to do with what we're doing now. Of course, Faylayee magnifies the situation by 'Ooh-ing' and 'Awe-ing' at the wrong time.

Have I mentioned I need new sisters?

Anyway, where was I? Oh, yes.

It seems I'm the only smart one in the room. When my epic reveal falls flat, within a minute of explaining the plot twist, Junie jumps up, laughing with the paper in her hand. She's figured it out.
