[Three months later...]

Out of all days, and especially on a day such as Faylayee's Wedding--it's cloudy as hell.

For a few seconds, the white fluffy stuff parts ways, showcasing a golden ball beaming down. Then, out of the blue--and a petty 'fuckboy' move--another set of clouds roams over our area, blocking the sun once again. Great.

"It's a sign--A freaking sign!"

Faylayee contorts her face into perpetual sadness, making an exaggerated puppy dog expression at everyone in the dressing room. Her eyebrows rise then lowers as she peeks out of a large bay window, sighing.

When the room falls silent, waiting for her tears, Faylayee shakes her head and utters, "I--I can't do this. I thought I could but--" She lifts her hands, fanning herself. "Oh, my God! What will Grandma think?!"

I think Faylayee meant to say, 'what would her fiance think,' but I digress.

However, our MawMaw, aka, our not blood-related Grandmother, a sweet, warmhearted lady, and a powerful witch--who mentored us with magic during our early sister circle years--would have so much to say at this moment.

"MawMaw would ask, why are we running late?" Aunt BeeBee stares blankly at her, almost at a standstill.

"What?! What do you mean? The wedding is an hour away?" Faylayee looks confused and yet adorable at the same time.

I step forward, adding my thoughts. "The wedding started five minutes ago. The guests are here."

Faylayee's mouth ajar, frowning in disbelief. "Oh, my God! I'm late for my wedding!"

She gasps again, looking down at her sparkly white princess-style wedding dress with intricate details along the waist. Her hair is sculpted perfectly, her skin lightly coated in bronze highlights. She's also glowing under luminous lights. Her make-up is 'beat for the gods,' and all thanks to Miss Voule's friend.

Faylayee's simply beautiful.

Meanwhile, a nerve-racking storm brews in Aunt BeeBee's eyes as she glances at me, the time, Faylayee's mother, and real aunts, wondering what the hell are we going to do

Meanwhile, a nerve-racking storm brews in Aunt BeeBee's eyes as she glances at me, the time, Faylayee's mother, and real aunts, wondering what the hell are we going to do. I mean, we could call off the wedding, but the guests are here, we're dressed, plus we spent a lot of money making sure Fay has the best human wedding experience.
