Sleepover

(The setting is a simple bungalow with a white car in the driveway)

"That was so fun!" Sabrina exclaimed.

"I know right," Aria started," I mean, who knew Kim-Lee could skate."

"Okay, are we going to start this sleepover or not?" Maya asked.

"All right, let's get inside, Rosalie said, rushing the girls into her house.

(The setting is a cozy living room and kitchen with an old-fashioned television set)

"Ok, what should we do first?" Kim-Lee asked.

"Maybe we should-" Maya began before the lights turned off. Immediately, all of the girls screamed but were silenced when they heard a chilling voice.

"Welcome to Sleepover, a game where you must find the traitor in your midst. You have all been assigned roles. There is the Medic, the Detective, the Muffin Ma'am, the Survivor, and of course, the Murderer." The voice paused, before continuing.

"Find the murderer, and you win, and if you don't, let's just say only one person is leaving alive. The murderer wishes you good luck."

With that, the voice vanished, leaving the girls to collect their thoughts. Soon though, A blood-curdling scream was heard and the lights turned back on. Sabrina looked around and noticed Rosalie was missing.

"Hey guys, where's Rosalie?" She asked, before realizing the sad truth.

"Oh my, someones been murdered, look around and find their body" The voice was back with instructions, and the girls obeyed, searching every nook and cranny. All of a sudden, Sabrina heard Aria's piercing shriek, and she ran to help her.

What she saw horrified her. There was Rosalie's body, stabbed multiple times, and baked in the oven. Sabrina regurgitated on the corpse that had once been her best friend. She and Aria were still there when Maya and Kim-Lee came back. They too began to cry, and soon Rosalie's younger sister Oriana came into the kitchen, back from her walk.

"Wait, don't!" Kim-Lee tried to warn her, but it was too late. Once Oriana saw what was in the oven she realized who it was and collapsed, sobbing harder than anyone else.

"Judgement day has come, vote on who you think the murderer is," the voice said. Oriana looked around, confused. "Who was that?" she asked.

"It's a voice directing this game, speaking of which, who are we voting for?" Maya answered, and asked a question of her own.

"I honestly don't know," Sabrina replied"

"Maybe It's Kim-Lee, they weren't very close" Aria suggested.

"Wait, what?! Don't listen to her, I'm the Muffin Ma'am!" Kim-Lee cried, but the seed had already been planted.

"Yeah right, you killer, I'm voting for you!" Maya shouted. Soon the votes had been cast and It was time to see the results.

"The votes are in, and Kim-Lee has the most votes" the voice began.

"The answer is," she paused before continuing again.

"Incorrect! Kim-Lee will now be removed from the house."

The girls teared up, realizing how ignorant they were.

"Wait, what do we call you?" Sabrina asked. She never wanted to hear this voice ever again, but it was a little strange for the voice not to have a name.

"Call me Carmen," she answered before the lights flickered and Kim-Lee was gone.

"Oh my gosh," Oriana whispered, shocked at how quickly she disappeared. Two hours later, the lights shut off, frightening the girls. Not five seconds later everyone heard a loud thump and the lights turned back on.

"Oh my gosh, where's Aria?" Oriana asked.

"It hurts me to say it, but I think she might be gone," Sabrina revealed the grim truth.

"Well well well, a new hour, a new murder, go find our missing friend" Carmen shouted, ensuring everyone heard her.

Oriana and Sabrina set out to find their friend. Oriana looked in the freezer and screamed, alerting both Maya, who had mysteriously disappeared, and Sabrina, who came running over.

There in the freezer was Aria, her face twisted in pain.

Sabrina noticed the places where her bones strained against her skin, and how her wrist and ankles were in awkward positions.

"It seems like Aria has fallen into a wintery grave, anyway, its talking time!" Carmen sang, leaving the girls to talk.

"Oh my gosh I saved the wrong person, how could that happen when I saved the right person last time!" Maya cried.

"Wait a minute," Sabrina exclaimed, "I'm the medic, I saved Aria last round and Oriana this round, besides even if I wasn't the medic if you had saved the right person only one person would be dead!" She continued, glaring daggers at Maya.

"Wait, I meant-" Maya began, before being cut off by Oriana.

"You liar, you're no medic, you're a murderer who killed my sister!" Oriana yelled. Before Maya could defend herself, it was time to vote.

"Well, it seems like Maya had the most votes," Carmen began, before continuing.

"The answer is," She said, before pausing once more. The girls waited anxiously, wondering what the answer would be.

"Correct! Congratulations on winning Sleepover'' Carmen exclaimed before disappearing forever.

In less than five seconds, police sirens could be heard. Maya was taken to jail and was soon taken for rehabilitation. Oriana and Sabrina were taken in for questioning and went to therapy, but eventually were able to talk about their lost friends with smiles on their faces. Meanwhile, the game of sleepover still goes on. Will you fall asleep?
