"Hey what's the time?" I ask, since I'm too lazy to check my phone.
"2:17" is my response.
We've been up here for 3 hours. I've tried to call Vanessa, but no answer. currently, will and I are both sprawled out on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
"I'm bored." Will whines, and props up on one elbow, watching me.
"Go do something." I say simply. In all honesty, I was pretty bored too.
"There's nothing to do though." He sighs and lays on his back.
"Why, Peasant, are you saying my presence bores you?" I joke in a British accent.
"Yes, your majesty. You bore me."
I stick my tongue out at him and he rolls his eyes.
"Very mature."
"One says the queen is always mature, everyone is just simply too immature to understand."
He rolls his eyes again. He seems to do that a lot.
Maybe it's just me.
After a few moments of silence, he shatters it.
"So what do you want to do?"
"I don't know Will!" I whine. "Go carve me a duck out of soap."
He raises his eyebrow. "Really?"
I pretend to look offended. "What? Soap ducks are very mature."
He scoffs and gets up, walking over to the bathroom.
I close my eyes for a moment, a little tired from staying up all night.
I don't know what's going on at the party, but the music is still really loud.
I'm just about to drift off to sleep, the sound of the muffled music soothing me, when Will comes back and jumps on top of me.
"Ow." I breathe out. He's laying on top of me, grinning.
"I made a duck out of soap, just like you asked."
He hands me a small yellow object, and I take it.
One eye is carved in too much, and the other eyes is just a circle. The wings are messed up, and his head is shaped like a square. The beak is sticking out of the side of his head. It looks like a toddler made it. A blind toddler with one hand.
"Aww Will I love it." I grin and laugh. He just looks so happy, laying on top of me grinning like a five year old-
He's laying on top of me.
I suddenly become aware of the position we're in.
His hands are both next to my face, caging me in, and he's straddling me.
His breath is fanning my face, and I breathe in his scent- cologne. Not too much, but just enough to make a girl swoon- or, make me swoon. I never really liked cologne, because all guys seem to think the whole bottle needed to be used in one day. But, with him, it's intoxicating.
He realizes the position too because his eyes widen.
He quickly moves off of me, and I sit up.
"Uhm...thanks. You know, for the soap. Duck. Soap duck." I wince.I'm so awkward.
He clears his throat and nods.
"Yup."
An awkward silence goes on for a little until the door bangs open.
We both jump up, startled.
Vanessa, her hair messed up, walks in with Alec.
"I was looking everywhere for you guys! What are you- oh. OH MY GOD did I interrupt something I interrupted something I'm just OH I'm just gonna go-"
"No!" I shout, jumping up, my eyes wide.
I realize I overreacted a little too much and toned it down.
"Uh, no, we just got stuck in here. How did you open the door?"
She gives me a confused look.
"What do you mean?"
"The door, it wasn't opening."
She goes to the door and grabs the handle- but it doesn't open.
"You have got to be fucking kidding me."
