Your POV "I can't get these damn memories out of my head. Why did he choose me over Ash! She's perfect and I know it, even Sal Fisher knew it but WHY DID HE STILL CHOOSE ME!" I thought to myself as a flash back came back about school .

*flash back
I was still doing my hair, my heart heaved heavily as I knew I'll be the only friend who won't have a date to go with me. Suddenly there was a knock on the bathroom door and my father walked in "I can't believe it! My baby is all grown up, I think I'm gonna cry." then your dad walked in with a camera "Arlight honey just don't faint on me this time, you ready to go Y/N?" I just nodded. I could tell my Father knew something was wrong "Honey can you leave for a second, I need to adjust Y/N's top." My dad nodded and left. "Honey bee, what's wrong?" My father pulled me close to him for a hug, I then started to cry as I grasped his jacket for comfort. "Sal asked her to the dance... I'm going alone because all my other friends will be busy with their dates." My father's eyes widen as he took a deep breath, "I need to go take a phone call, wait here for a second " I nodded and looked back to the mirror so I could fix my makeup
A few minutes later there was a knock on the door, I raised an eyebrow and stood up " Oh that must be himmm." My father said in the over exaggerated gay voice, which made me smile, when he opened the door a man who was 6'0, wearing a vest, had brown eyes and slicked back hair. "Y/N, meet Leon he's gonna be your "date" for tonight so you won't feel alone!" I felt my face heat up both from attractiveness and embarrassment, I wasn't going to lie, he was pretty attractive sure but he wasn't Sal. "Shall we head out my good lady/sir." he said with an accident that was unfamiliar to ke, I grabbed what I needed and left with Leon. We linked our arms around each other as he led me downstairs. I past my friends in the lobby. Sal was straightening his neck tie when he suddenly stopped. He noticed me anr was about to walk up to us but stopped when he saw Leon walking with me. Leon looked Sal up and down and smiled "Nice suit, matches your hair." We continued walking, I smiled and wrapped my arms around Leon's again as he led me to his car. He quickly open the door for me and I got in, my eyes immediately landed on the small MLM flag hanging from the mirror "Your gay (too)?" I questioned Leon, he chuckled and said "Yes, well Pansexual actually, that belongs to my boyfriend, but I'm only doing your old man a favor since he helped me with something in my business." Leon started his car and drove to the high school. The front of the school was crowded, Leon found a parking spot and we both got out. As we approached the school I looked confused when I noticed Sal and his friends somehow made it there first. I took my ticket out of my purse and handed it to the attendees, in the meantime Sal tried to get my attention. I glanced over at him to see him waving rapidly at me, Leon turned my face towards him, and whispered "The more you Ignore him the more he'll want your attention." I was extremely hesitant but I took his word and entered the school.
Sal's POV H-he/s-she ignored me, TWICE! What's gotten into him/her, is he/she ok? I wonder why she/he went to prom with that guy! So many thoughts ran through my head but I snapped out when Larry put a hand on my shoulder. "Dude you ok you're scaring Ash." I turn to see Ash with a scared look on her face, I realized I was squeezing her hand harshly so I pulled away "Sorry I'm just worried about Y/N." Maple chimed in on our topic "Sal he/she's fine look how happy she/he was." Maple said smiling, I nod my head while looking at the doors, "Lets go have fun!" I said
Your POV Me and Leon danced the night away, I noticed Sal has been trying to get close to me but Leon kept him away, we suddenly pulled away when Leon got a phone call "Hello? Babe what's wrong! " You stood there and Leon turned to look at you with an apologetic look, you nodded and Leon hung up "Y/N I'm so sorry but it's an emergency so I must go now." you smiled "I understand, be safe you two." Leon noticed everyone staring so he quickly kissed me on the cheek and started to walk away, "How about we get lunch tomorrow, see ya Y/N." You looked around seeing everyone staring, even Ash, Larry, Todd, Chug, Maple, and Sal. All the attention started to become overwhelming and before I knew it I felt tears run down my face, I sped walk out of the gym and into the back of the school. "Y/N." I heard someone call out, I turned around and quickly realized it was Sal, he was chasing after me, I rolled my eyes before quickly taking off my high heels/dress shoes and ran. After running for a bit I looked back to see Sal catching up to me so I decided to cut through the basketball court, I got a little annoyed and yelled to him "WHAT DO YOU WANT SAL FISHER?" Sal stood for a few minutes but his hands slowly went behind his head and he took off his prostatic, it fell to the floor but he slowly approached me. I stared as I backed up until my back hit the fence. Sal placed his arms next to me and whispered "I want you to tell me what's wrong Y/N. You've been avoiding me since we found that lunch meat." I glanced away, "It's because I like you, I thought that maybe if I distance myself these feelings will go away but they never did.." he fell silent, suddenly a hand went to my cheek, he pressed a kiss against my lips which made me froze for a moment before kissing back. In the distance Leon stood there and took a picture and sent it to my fathers "I told you he'll want her/him more if he/she ignored him." Leon texted your dad.
When Sal pulled away you weakly asked "Why did you do that?" Sal grabbed my hands and said "Y/N, I made a lot of mistakes, and this was one of them. I could have lost you if I hadn't realized what I did. You're so beautiful/handsome/ funny, kind, sweet and lovable, please will you ever forgive my stupidity." I thought for a moment then pulled Sal into a hug "Of course I will."
*end of flashback*
Tears ran down my face and I broke out crying, "SAL I NEED YOU." I screamed as you grabbed your pills, then lit a cigarette and took a deep breath before whispering, "I'm so sorry this had to happen to you my love, you've already been through so much."
