As the light of morning filtered into the bedroom through the cracks of the window, Gaston's eyes slowly opened to see a sleeping Lefou by his side. Gaston bolted awake and threw off the sheets, waking up Lefou. Lefou rubbed his eyes before realizing that he and Gaston shared a bed the previous night.

"G-gosh sorry G-Gaston! I must have fell asleep!" Lefou exclaimed and blushed, rubbing his neck nervously. Gaston got out of bed and cleared his throat.

"I-its no problem! We went a bit overboard last night on the drinking. I hardly remember last night..."Gaston turned to face the window, trying to hide the fact that he was lying. He remembered everything the night before.

 Love...cuddling...Lefou.

"Well, I'm going to take a shower. Thanks again for taking care of me last night", Lefou smiled lightly and left the bedroom. Gaston continued to stare out of the window in thought, cheeks beating bright red.

'What I am thinking? Feelings for...him? A guy...' Gaston thought as he got dressed into his hunting clothes. 'I know! A good hunt to get the mind of this nonsense!' he smiled and grabbed his shotgun off the wall.

"Lefou! I'm going out!" Gaston yelled upstairs before leaving the cabin. Lefou peaked out of the bathroom, watching the front door close. Lefou sighed and continued to shower. 'Don't get your hopes up, Gaston could never love a fool like you', he thought.

Meanwhile in the woods...

Gaston approached an opening and squatted beside a tree, looking for his next kill. Gaston had already shot down two ducks but yearned for more. As Gaston aimed for another duck, the image of Lefou crossed his mind. Gaston dropped his gun and placed  his hand on his head.

'Fuck...why cant I stop thinking about him?' he thought and looked back towards town. His heart ached as he gripped his chest. Gaston sighed and gathered his kill as he began to make his walk home.

Back at Lefou and Gaston's cabin...

Lefou stared at the ceiling of cabin from the couch, thinking about his friendship with Gaston. 'I need to pretend as if nothing happened last night. This will clear up any awkwardness!' Lefou sat up enthusiastically and smiled. 'Me and Gaston are nothing but friends, and that's okay,' he told himself.

Lefou thought of an idea. "Ill make us dinner! We can talk about beautiful women, hunting, and eating eggs!" he said out loud as he chuckled. Lefou grabbed his satchel from the fireplace and made his way to the market.

Later that evening...

The door creaked open as Gaston returned back to the cabin. It was silent and dark, it didn't appear that anyone was home.

"Lefou?" Gaston's echo bounced off the walls of the home.

'Hmm...he must have gone out', he shrugged and prepared a fire. He sat in front of the fire as the flames flickered into the darkness. Just then, Lefou walked into the home.

"Hi Gaston! I grabbed some ingredients for dinner. Thought I could make us some potato soup," Lefou smiled and placed the groceries on the table.

"Ah, that sounds great Lefou! How kind of you," Gaston stood from the floor and went to accompany the smaller man. Lefou blushed lightly and started to peel the potatoes.

"Its my pleasure! I was thinking we could have some beers, eat great food, and talk about beautiful women," Lefou winked.

Gaston scratched his head and sat at the table. "Y-yes of course! Sounds wonderful my friend," he said with a lower voice.

"Is something wrong Gaston?" Lefou asked and titled his head. Lefou joined his friend at the table.

Gaston sighed and leaned back in his hunter's chair. "You know, I cant put my finger on it. Something is definitely bothering me but I cant really say what it is," he said.

Lefou shrugged. "Well if you need help figuring it out, I'm here," he smiled and rested his hand on Gaston's arm.

Gaston shot up from his chair and chuckled nervously. "Y-you know maybe a nice shower will help! I-I'm gonna go do that!" He rushed upstairs, face bright red.

'Ugh, its like I cant do anything right to please him...' Lefou thought sadly as he started to prepare dinner.
