Okay, so I suck at making angst, so if it's terrible, I'm sorry. @Flower-Bloom's request (also I never read/watched the series the nightmare was based off of) ALSO DREAM HAS REALLY GOOD HEARING IN THIS.

No.... Anything but this memory
"G-get away!" he screamed, backing away from Sam
I want to leave... Why this memory...
Grian awoke with a startle, he had been having nightmares a lot lately, he knows he should tell someone, he just doesn't want to bother them.
"I don't know why I have to be the one with the nightmares..." He thought out loud and sniffed, that time of his life really scarred him. It wasn't something he liked looking back on, but the nightmares made it impossible to forget it. He didn't even realize he was crying till someone walked into the room.
"Bread?" someone asked, it was Dream. Him and his super-hearing had heard Grian's crying.
"o-oh, hey Dream... Did I wake you? sorry..." he quickly apologized. Dream walked over, he knew something was up. Grain hadn't been getting any sleep lately and it was worrying Dream and Techno.
"It's fine, are you okay? I heard you crying..." dream sat next to his sniffling lover and brought him into a hug, Grian immediately hugged back, needing the comfort.
"y-yeah, it was just a nightmare...." he responded, tightening his grip on Dream.
"well it clearly made you upset." Dream said, he was wondering why Grian didn't tell them... Well no matter, I can ask him in the morning.
"Do you want me to stay till you fall back asleep?"
"yeah, that would help a lot..." Grian said, snuggling up against Dream, resulting in a spoon. They both ended up falling asleep together, with no nightmares this time.
