Chapter 15- Listen to your heart

You were getting to know Harry and eveyone was talking, you and Ginny were taking insta pics. But than colby grabbed you and you wrapped your legs around him and he kissed you. "Im gonna take a pic for you guys." She took a pic. But colby chucked you in the pool. "You want to play that game eh colby." You run after him and go behind the pool rock area where no one can see you. You couldn't find colby cause it was pitch black, but than he pulled you into the shadow and kissed you against the wall. You smiled, "god I've been waiting to do this all night." You laughed "by the way that bathing suit is killing me." "The whole point baby" he kissed you against the wall again. "Are you guys done hooking up over there?" You died laughing "we are not hooking up ginny" colby says. "But ya wanted to till she said that" "yup." You laughed and holded his hand. "I think were gonna get ready for bed Ginny, were quite tired from the drive." "Okay goodnight guys" "nice meeting you harry" you hold colbys hand and he guides you to his mum. "Where do you want us to sleep?" "Theres the master guest room, cause im assuming cause you have a girlfriend now that you want a bigger bed. Than your teen one." "Alright thanks mum." Colby leads you up the stairs, he had the mystcheveious smile. You already knew what was that was for.. he brought you in the room and locked the door and closed the window. He bought you in the bathroom and locked the door. He gestured for you do go turn on the shower as he did something. You turned it on and he was puttin protection on, he un clipped your bathing suit and pushed you in the shower. He smiled wider when you put your arms around him. You played with his hair for a few minutes, and he put it in without you knowing so you moaned loudly. Colby covered your mouth with his hands. "Shh that vent there leads to ginnys room" he started kissing you and your  hands slid everywhere on him. "Harder?" He asked as he pulled away but than you gasped for air so you could say somethibg but he did it anyways, you covered your mouth cause colby found your week spot on your neck to kiss. "I found your weak spot princess." You smiled you turned him over and kissed him against the wall and you slicked his hair back. "Auh my gosh." He smiles and than heard a pop noise "fuck the condom broke" "don't stop this" you say as you bit your lip. He pulled it out anyways and you gasped. He took off the condom and put it back in. "Your on birth control right?" "Yes." "Im trusting you on this cause i i don't want to get out of the shower. You smiled wildly when he started. Than a knock on the bedroom door alarmed you. "Fuck." Colby said. "Im tired anyways, lets go to bed." You get out of the shower and so does colby he just threw a pair of pants on and walked to the door. Ginny and mrs brock were at the door. You walk in and noticed you put on colbys sweat shirt. With your sweats, "oh hi? Something wrong?" "Your moms at the door." Ginny says. "Excuse me? Why is she here." "I think you should find out yourself." You looked at colby he had sorrow in his eyes, they told him already. "Maybe colby should go with you hun" you were confused and walked down the stairs and see your mums makeup running. "Mum? What are you doing her?" "Hunny, your father's dead." "No. No hes not." "Yes he is hunny. A cop shot him and." "I don't want to hear this, this is all a dream. Just a stupid stupid dream." You say running up the stairs, "im gonna go with her. Im sorry for your loss." He runs up after you. You drop to the ground. "Hes gone hes truly gone." You start crying bawling your eyes out. Colby touched you, "no you can't see me like this." Babe? We've been together for like a year, and we've known each other before. I love you i dont care if you dont say it, but im staying." "Colby before its too late, i love you so fucking much." Colby hugs you. "I love you too baby".

Its been hours, colbys asleep. But you just can't fall asleep, theres something about this that doesnt feel right. Is there a chance this is fake? But why would your mom drive hours away for it. Makes no sense, nothing makes any sense. But your fathers gone now, does that mean so is all your problems? Its 6 o'clock you decided to go for a hour run, to get yourself motivated. You put on black athletic leggings and a black sports bra and quietly stepped out the door. Its a beautiful place here in Kansas, just wish i didn't half to start off the trip like this. Its 7 o'clock and you decided to start heading back. You got spammed texted and called by Colby. You answer the call "Hello?" " WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU." "I went for a run at 6, is that okay or are you now my father." "Y/n." "Im fine Colby, i didn't leave im about to walk into the house right now. Bye." You walk in and grab a water and Mrs brocks making bacon and eggs. "Smells good in here Mrs. Brock" "Thank you honey, decided to start the day early? You woke up a few times i heard.." "oh im sorry." "Its okay hun". You smile she hands you a plate and you sit down and watch tv, all your friends were texting you how sorry they are. You just ignored all those texts. "Morning Mrs.Brock" "Morning Harry, Ginnys sleeping in again" "yep i tried" they laugh. He sits down across from you. "So how long have you two been together?" "4years now, ever since we were 14." "14 eh? I remember being 14, feels so long ago but it was only a few years ago." "So how long you and Colby been together?" "Uhm a year or less? Idk I've known him for a while though.." "oh yeah, how'd you guys meet?" "Oh uh" mrs brock looks at you "our parents worked together.. than i grew up with Ginny and Colby was always with my brothers. Which mean't i started having a interest in him. Than i hit high school, than i just fell for another guy." "Thats when i started to have feelings for her." You turned around to see colby leaning against the wall shirtless with sweatpants on. "Oh uhm thats a story" "yea" you say awkwardly.. you finish your food quick and put the plate in the dish washer. "So Ginnys not up?" Colby asks. "No" mrs brock said. "Oh that'll change" you say running up the stairs. "Ginny wake up, theres a sale on at-" "IM UP LETS Go.. oh you just tricked me." "Yup get your ass up and eat, were going shopping later." You and Ginny walk downs stairs, "how'd you get her up?!" "See when growing up with boys you learn a few things." You all laugh. You sit in the living room on your phone you distantly hear a conversation from the dining room. "Hows she doing?" "I honestly have no idea, she was hurt last night. But now shes acting like nothing happened." You walk into the kitchen "well im fine okay, i really am. Me and my father never got a long. But one thing he tought me, was to never be weak i stand by it." You say walking up the stairs. "Maybe i should go talk to her." Ginny steps infront of him "I'll go." He sits back down and ginny catches up to you. "Y/n, were just worried okay. Its a natural instinct.. come here." She gives you a hug "Thanks Ginny, but im okay! I swear!." "Okay anyways, girl talk my room." You walk in her room with her. "So do you ever want to get married one day?" "Well i mean with the right person." "Is Colby the right person?" "Is Harry the right person?" "Oh touche touche" you both laugh "well what i mean't was do you ever think of weddings or your future?" "I mean of course i think of weddings but i never really got into them." "Well i have! Wedding in fall beautiful pictures in a field perfect!" You both laughed "i love how random this is!" "Why aren't you talking to colby this morning?" "I did" "when??" "Well over the phone, at 7.." "why what happened?" "I said something i shouldn't have to him." "Oh gosh." "I said the 'L' word.." "YOU SAID I LOVE YOU! Holy shit!" "Ssshhhhh! Yes i did but i don't think i meant it. I just was scared and needed closure." "Okay? Just dont say it again?" "Yeah i guess" "okay well lets get changed, and get going." "Uhm okay?" "You pack anything trendy?" "Not really just my basic-" "say no more, my clothes are our clothes" you both laugh.

You both raid the closet for stuff to wear. You found a oversized sweatshirt crop and than put black leggings on with combat boots. "Cute! I'll curl your hair in a second but i need to find ripped jeans" ginny wore ripped jeans and a bralette with a peachy tanned tube top with converses. She curls your hair, and you straighten hers. She gives you a black leather purse backpack to wear. You guys were about to walk out of the bedroom as colby opened up the door. "Hey can i borrow y/n for a minute" oh crap he called you by your name. Thats not good.. "uhm yeah sure I'll be downstairs." He brings you to yours and his room. "Were talking." "Theres nothing to talk about? What do you want Colbs?" "What do you mean nothing to talk about you havent been talking to me!" "I don't half to be talking to you every minute of the day colby, i was talking to harry. Than you came down and said what you said." "Said what i said, what did i say. Do you even listen to me.!" "You know what you need to cool off, I'm not having this discussion right now or ever. Im leaving with ginny." "To hell your not." He holds you against the wall. "Get your hands off me now. I said now." He steps back "You never fucking listen or talk to me." "Oh so i dont talk to you now. Mhm i don't spend every second of every day and night with you." "Get out of my face." "NO. You dragged me into this room to talk, so were talking colby. Say what you wanna say to give me more of a reason to walk right out that door and never see you again." You and Colby stare at eachother. You both walk out the door. "Alright Ginny lets go." "Uhm okay.?" Harry kisses Ginny, You stare at Colby. You kiss him and whisper "I will never leave you, i was just mad. Im sorry" you back up away from him and his emotion doesn't change.

You walk up to her car and go to the mall. "So what was that about?" "What" "uhm you and colby arguing. Didn't look like he was too impressed with you." "Hes just being difficult. Thats all." "Oh okay, me and harrys anniversary is today so i half to be back by six. "Ohh okay yeah" you guys shopped for hours goofed around and everything. It was 5:30 and you informed Ginny about it. "Oh crap." Than she got a text "hey baby meet me at the beach bring y/n" "oh uh okay?" "He said to bring you too." "Oh?" You guys get to the beach and its sunset, you guys walk over and harry texted you to record. You started recording.

Ginny walked over and was confused. There was a candel of hearts surrounding the words, "will you be mine forever and marry me?" She was suprised she started crying as he got down on one knee. "YES!" he placed the ring on her finger and hugged him and kissed him. Colby was taking pictures. You walked over to Ginny and Harry, "CONGRATS! THATS SO EXCITING!" Ginny hugged you "omg im engaged!" "Indeed you are!" She hugged you harder and Colby continued to take pictures. "Well looks like you have a little dinner at the beach." "Looks like you and colby have some talking to do." Harry said. "This is why you brought both of us here." They laughed. You started walking along the beach, Colby joined you. "Wow wasn't expecting to little Ginny being engaged." "Yeah pretty crazy, he told me his plans and i was like what?" You smiled at him, "beautiful night, waters clear." "Yeah it is beautiful out" "By the way i do listen to everything you say, cause it means something. Everything does." "I know i was not right this morning, i wasn't thinking straight." "Neither was i shouldnt have avoided you or said anything i said today. I just got mad that you were mad at me." "I know. But why were you avoiding me?" "Oh i don't know" "i think you do know." "Fine colby, i told you i loved you last night. I dont know if i said that cause i was scared of dying-" you finally noticed why you said it, cause your heart finally said something. You said it because you were scared you wouldn't get the chance to actually tell him.
