Chapter 16- Gone Soft

"So? Are you going to finish your sentence?" Colby said confused. "I said it cause i was scared I wouldn't get the chance to tell you how i feel. I'm just so fucked up I know, I can't get my min-" "shut up." "Excuse me." "If you cant get your mind straight than why did you say it eh? Just for some rando shit. If you know you'll know. Just dont trick me like this." "Im not Colby." Colby turns to walk away as you said that. "Really. You said you loved me, than the morning after you said you were gonna leave me and never see you again. Just stop. Now were gonna walk back holding hands acting like were okay." You roll your eyes. He grabs your hand and holds it. "is the happy couple back?" "Haha yes and better than ever!" Colby says. You just smiled, "I think were gonna head home. Goodnight guys" Colby said dragging you away. You both get in Colbys car. You both don't say anything, you both got changed and layed in bed. You both kept your distance from eachother, you say "goodnight." "Goodnight." He says turning off the lights. But yet again you couldn't sleep.

You wake up to Ginny jumping at the end of you and Colbys bed. You were finally drifting off. Than you got awoken, "oh hey Ginny, whats up?" "Wedding is in a month" "A MONTH" "yeah its just gonna be a family one. So will you be my maid of honor!" "YES!" You both get off the bed and start screaming, you look over to see Colby staring at you. You roll your eyes, Colby gets out of bed and takes a sip of water. "So Colby when are you gonna propose?" Colby spits out water everywhere. You stood there laughing your ass off. "No but seriously conjoined weddings!" You acted like you didn't hear that. You walked over to colby and squished his face "we are happy in the relashionship with bave now, aren't we Colby" he shook his head. Ginny walked over, "yes but just imagine this" she pushes Colby on one knee and gives him her engagment ring.

You looked deep into his piercing blue eyes, than he did that smile the one that you love the most about him. You got lost looking into his eyes, all your happy memories flashed before you from the first time you met eachother till now. You smiled and looked at Ginny and Harry walked in. "Uhm what is this?" "Im just showing them how it would feel" "oh uhm okay I just came up to tell you guys theres french toast downstairs." "Okay be there in a second" Ginny says as Harry walks out. "Yeah I guess its a cool feeling." Ginny moves your face back to Colbys and gestures for him to slide the ring on your finger. He looks at you deeply as he slides it up your finger and he broke contact. he gets up. "Is that all you wanted me for?" He looks like hes mad but keeping it in. "Colby? Why are you acting like this." Ginny says looking at you two. "Everything is fine Ginny, heres your ring. Go have some breakfast well meet you there" she walks out the door and closes it.

You look at colby and went to go in the bathroom. You put on black ripped jeans, with a metallica black sweater crop, chain chocker, black combat boots. You put your hair straight and brushed your teeth. "You know you make it hard for me to ignore you, when your wearing stuff like that." "Well good, cause you make it hard when you look at me like that!" You look at him and almost heading out the door. Till he put his hands on your hips, he whispers in your ear "we technically can still have sex". "Why are you always so horny. And no that means you'd win this argument so how about no." You push him away and shut the door.

You walk down the stairs and eat, "where's Colby" "I dont know as long as he stays away from me I don't care." "What happened" Ginny says "we didn't make up last night okay. We fought. He didn't pwant to ruin your guys night. So we faked it, thats why he was an ass this morning." "But you guys are still together right?" "Yeah of course, well work this out. I hope he realizes that I meant it, when I said I loved him" You notice Colby behind Ginny. You smile, he looks away. "Yeah.. you two better make up soon." "Yea I hope that too." Colby sits down. "So going shoping for the wedding today." Ginny says. "Already." "Yes, your the maid of honor, Colbys the grooms men. We half to get dresses and they half to get tuxs. My friends that are coming I told them who to go to for the fitting cause they can't make it today. So it's just gonna be me, you and the boys. The tuxes and dresses are at the same place." "Oh okay sounds good. When do we leave.?" "Right after breakfast" you all nod your head.

You all get into Ginnys car, you sit in the back with Colby of course. It's an hour and a half away, you got really tired cause you haven't slept in 2 days straight. You fell asleep. Colby caught you from bashing your head off the door. He leaned you on him and he looked out the window. An hour later, your 10 minutes away. Colby kisses your lips lightly, than kissed your forehead and whispered. "I love you so fuckin much." You turn your head to look at Colby, you smile. "You lost, ha!" "Oh really! How?" "You kissed me!" "You were supposed to be sleeping." "That makes it any better" you laugh and he smiles you both look at eachother. Than your inturpted by the car stopping. "Were here!" Ginny said you get out of the car and walk up to the door.

You walk in and sit down well the lady explains everything. Than Colby and Harry went off to go find tuxs. You helped find the perfect dress for Ginny and she chosed a laced half arm sleeved mermaid cut white dress. "Alright this is fun, your trying on a wedding dress too. Than well find your actual dress. You picked a beautiful white dress. It has a bow in the back. (You imagine what style yiu want) "wow your gorgeous" "ha please no where close, a bitch yes 100% accurate." You both laughed "wow me in a white dress, that's not gonna happen. Atleast I never think it will." "What do you mean Colby always wanted to get married" "nevermind." You start walking down from the tiny stage thing for looking at the mirror. You had a tear or two going down your face, than you see Colby and Harry.

Colby looks at you, confused. You stopped than ran into the change room. You give the lady the dress, and walked right past Colby not realising no ones fallowing you just Colby. You turn around "are you guys co-" Colby pkisses you, "I know I lost, I don't care. Make fun of me all you want, call me names for being an ass or becoming soft. But I dont care, I just need you. I realised that when I know your not happy with me I feel empty. I thought I could live without you, I thought if I ignored you for long enough I'd convince myself that I don't need you. But I do you complete me, you complete my life! Your the thing that gives me hope that I'll have a good future. Cause I hope it's us till the end." "Colby i love you so much, it's not even funny." You both hug eachother.
