"She won't talk to me... how could I fuck this up again?" Said the nearly caramell haired young guy, who seemed kind of down.

With him was a dark brown haired girl. They were standing on a little bridge looking down the river. The sun was already setting down.

And after a minute the girl spoke up. "Don't say that. She just... needs time. You know how Lin is."

The male just watched their reflection in the water and saw the girl's usual smile. "You always say that." He replied.

"Because that's what always happens, am I right Karl?" The girl said in a sing-song voice and the guy stiffled a laugh.

"Don't act like this. You make me laugh. It's... it's serious. She's not young anymore!" Karl huffed unamusedly.

"But she's still Karolin Daryll, your little sister!"  She frowned at the situation.

"Foster sister who always gets mad at me whatever I do."

"Larry, dun say dat!" The chocolate eyed girl made a funny pout.

"Stop it Kate, it's not helping right now!" The guy still chuckled a little bit though.

"Larrrreeeeeh!" She shouted. "Kay, I stop it," she laughed.

A peaceful silence came again. Karl looked at Kaitlyn and frowned.

"What should I do? You're the girl, you should know!" Kaitlyn just giggled at it then came her reply.

"Just apologize to her. That is all you can do, I guess, maybe give her some time," Karl closed his eyes.

"B-but... She was just being utterly rude to me! Like, directly hitting me? Why? What did I do?" He whined and the Kaitlyn sighed.

"Well, it must the thing you said to her earlier...."

Earlier that day~

Karl was overly annoyed by the fact that Don flirted with Karolin. And Karolin let him.

"That womanizer..." he murmured under his breath. He knew Don, because he was in his class. He usually played with girls in his opinion.

Karolin may have feelings for him though, at least that's what Karl believes in.

And that's the last thing he wanted. A hurt sister who will cry everytime.

No, Karl couldn't let that happen, so the direct person he is, he shuffled his way to the two.

"Oh, hey Karl!" Don greeted him cheerfully and the caramell haired guy just sent him a glare and gave that 'tsk' sound.

"Lin, can you come and talk with me for a minute?" Asked the third wheel there, also known as Karl Daryll.

"... well, okay. I'll be back!" She smiled at him.

Karl just thought how wrong she was about the last part. If it depended on him of course.

When they were out of Don's hearing space Karl started.

"You shouldn't talk with that guy!" He blurted out and Karolin's bright greenish-blue eyes widened at pure disbeliefing.

"What do you mean? What's wrong with him anyways?" She said with a not too kind tone to the older boy.

"He's not the kind you want to know!" He replied.

"What are you talking about? Kind you say... tsk, I bet you just don't like him." She huffed in annoyence and Karl's temper started going up.

"You want to be the dumb girl, who got played? Well, don't come to me when it happe--" But the girl cut him off angrily.

"I don't even need your help! You just come here and tell me what I should do! You don't have to do things like that!" She screamed at him angrily and then Karl replied.

"Well, then! Do what you want to! Be as dumb as you want to! I hope you just will get dumped if you guys will even get together!"

"He was just talking with me!" She screamed back.

"Well, guys are just talking with bitches as well at first!" He knew he did say a really offensive thing. Well, in the hallway where they were, everyone was looking at them and because of the shame and embarressment Karolin ran out of the building.

Back to present~

"I was so fucking mean... man..." He sighed in frustration and covered his forehead with his palm.

"Well you have to correct your mistake, Larry!" Kaitlyn put her hand on his shoulder and smiled at him. As careless as she seemed she was thinking about how she could help out her friend.

"Stop calling me Larry!" Karl frowned and looked at her with his bright brown eyes.

"Okaaay, but apologize to her properly please! I know you can do that!" She cheered and then they started walking home. Well, Karl walked her home and then he went home was well.

At Karl's home....

When he got home their parents weren't home so the house was kind of silent.

Karl lazily walked up the stairs and knocked on Karolin's door.

"Who is it?" She asked with a monotone voice, "oh, and if you're Karl, you're not welcomed and go away!"

"Lin... please let me explain," he sighed at how awkward it will be.

"Explain what? You being pregnant?" Karl just huffed at the comment.

"I'm going to explain why I said those things." The brown eyed guy looked down and Karolin furrowed her eyebrows together.

"Because you're an old man in a young guy's body!" Karl let it go again. He couldn't let his temper get his best out of him.

"No, please listen to me..." Karl looked directly at her. "I... was afraid."

"Of what?" She was confused. And already was out of jokes.

"You know, of the case that you might get heart broken and all. That guy is a player!"

"Who said I want a relationship with him?" She crossed her arms above her chest.

"Stop acting like you don't even like him." He did the same as his sister.

"Ha-how could you know that? It's not your busine--" Karl cut her off.

"As you are my sister it's my responsibillity to care about who you are crushing on. And that guy is just... a perverted bastard," Lin just sighed frustatedly.

"Kaaahrl. If he will be perverted I'll slap him across his pretty face and then it will be all settled. Anyways, who knows? Maybe it's just the surface of him?" She laughed.

"You promise you will tell me if he is not being good to you right?" He rose one of his eyebrows.

"I promise, just stop acting like you're on your period, huehue!" She started laughing and Karl facepalmed.

"Okay, as long as you keep your promise as well. Just, be safe while you're talking to that bastard!" He weakly smiled at her.

"It's a deal!" She agreed.

And after that they called Kaitlyn over and ate icecream together.
