incoming call from 'the kings'

the dark skies were lighter now, a soft dark blue and the stars growing dimmer.

honestly she looked crusty.
to herself at least.

having being up since forever, she sat next to her window gazing outside. she wore a pajama set, coming in shorts and a shirt.

her phone then made a sound.
she lazily looked towards the screen to see a tired looking terushima, looking like he had JUST been able to fall asleep.
there was also a very tired looking akaashi, who squinted at the screen in slight frustration and confusion.
that was it... there were no signs of the rest coming but it's not like any of them minded.

" hey "
she spoke, her voice almost a whisper.

" normally I wouldn't complain but-
it's.. it's five o'clock "
terushima said.

" why "
akaashi blinked.
once
twice

" oh.. sorry for waking you two I guess "
she said looking back towards the window before setting it against it and looking outside again.

" couldn't sleep ? "
terushima tilted his head, the bits of sleepiness he had going away.

" yeah.. "
she nodded.
little did they know she was thinking of them.
little did she know.. someone was thinking of the same thing.

" same.. i had kind of just fallen asleep before you called "
terushima said.

" y/n go to your bed "
akaashi spoke , his voice low and raspy , sending shivers down y/n's back and tingles up terushima's.

" huh? why "
confusion evident in hers and terushima's face as they looked at the pretty setter.

akaashi only blinked.

said girl slowly got up , grabbing her phone. she went and sat on the bed , looking at her phone again.

" now lay down, both of you "

both teens got comfortable and laid down.

akaashi then set his phone on the wall next to him, you could see him lay down and close his eyes.

" um- "

" go to sleep "

both teens blinked, glancing at each other in confusion then back to akaashi.

said boy sighed lowly before opening his eyes.

" close your eyes "

the teens did so, not without peeking open any eye a couple of times.

" I heard that sometimes being on the phone and going to sleep helps people sleep better "
akaashi muttered lowly but just enough so they heard him.
" i've also been told that my breathing is calming ? "

terushima snorted and y/n snickered quietly

then it was quiet.
no sound except for the sound of slowing breaths.

" g'night guys "
y/n murmured , drifting off to slumber.

" night.. "
terushima said as his eyes fluttered closed fully.

" ... goodnight "
akaashi let himself fall into sleep .

once again nothing was heard.
nothing but the sound of three teenagers sleeping peacefully.
