chapter 8?

narrator point of view

it's been about a week since the whole kuroo and kenma thing and kuroo admitted to kenma what he did the day after.... and let's just say you're trying to make it up to kenma.

y/n pov
"kenmaaaaa" I call out

"y/n please go away I'm trying to change" he replied

"fine, but hurry I don't want to be late!" i say before going downstairs and looking for a snack.

not long after kenma came down in black pants with a chain hanging from one of the sides, and a white long-sleeve shirt with a black shirt over it and a silver chain around his neck. while I was wearing a similar outfit but my jeans were ripped

(if you want to change the outfit in any way you can, or if you don't want the jeans to be ripped ignore that part. or if you don't want kenma to dress like that then you can imagine something else, you don't have to go along with what I say btw :3 )

"do we have to go out.... we can just stay here and play on my switch  until I can buy you the (your fav color) one you've been wanting..." he said while lightly scratching his arm.

"kenma we need to go, but when we come back we can play" you say with a smile

a small smile tugs on kenmas lips "alright then"

narrator pov
you grab his hand and pull him out and you and him start walking to a gaming shop.

they have all kinds of consoles there. from pc's to tablets to PlayStations and Xbox's.

kenma pov
I saw a (your favorite color) Nintendo switch with (second favorite color) outlining the sides.

I wanted to get it for (y/n)

"kenma I'm gonn go look at games for my (preferred gaming device) I'll be back" you said while smiling, kenma nodded. with that you turned around and slowly walked in the opposite direction

"I'll buy it while she's distracted now" he thought

he took the box and went up to the register and bought it. the cashier placed it inside a bag and handed it to kenma.

he went to look for you and he saw you were looking at animal crossing but for (your preferred gaming device). He slowly thought of a plan and a small smirk formed on his lips but disappeared as fast as it had appeared.

"hey (y/n) can you get the one for the Nintendo switch, I broke my other one" he said "yeah of course" you said grabbing the game thinking nothing of it.

he took it from your hands and went to pay for it. "Kenma can we go? we can play on your switch when we get home like you wanted to" you said. "sure" he smiled causing you to smile as well

~time skip~

y/n pov

i was waiting for kenma to come lay down with me but he's taking forever doing who-knows-what downstairs

~5 minutes later~

Kenma pov

i was getting her present ready for (y/n) but it took longer than I expected but better late than never i  guess....

i opened the door to see (y/n) spread out in a starfish position on my bed with her feet dangling off the side of the bed and one of her arms hanging as well

i gently shook her. then again. and again

she woke up finally

(y/n) pov

i woke up from the mini nap i had to see kenma with a bag?

"what's that?" I pointed at the bag

he handed it to me "it's for you actually" he replied looking to the side 

I opened it to see a (your favorite color) Nintendo switch and animal crossing I dropped the stuff on the bed and quickly hugged kenma

"kenma!!! thank you thank you thank you thank yooouuuuu" I said stretching the last "you"

he huffed back slowly after and tightened his grip

"anything to see my princess happy"  he replied with a smile that was unknown to you because you were looking away
