"Barbara? I thought you said that we were never going to see each other ever again." I said pulling the knife away from her throat,

"I saw you leaving the GCPD and I needed to talk to you, Gwenny." Barbara said,

"Don't call me that and like I've said, that night was a mistake! We were both drunk and you were vulnerable, please don't make this more difficult than it is, Barbara." I tried to walk away but she grabbed my forearm,

"Please Gwen, can we talk?" I looked back at her, her blue eyes were looking into mine, "Please." I nodded and we started walking, there was a long silence,

"What did you want to talk about?" I asked, stuffing the knife back into my boot,

"I just miss you, Gwen. I really hope that we can be friends again." Barbara said,

"I never hated you Barbara, I just said we shouldn't see each other for a while. I didn't want things to get difficult with you and Jim." I said, "But I still think you and I shouldn't talk for a while, Barbara. You should move on." I sped up when we got closer to my apartment. I left Barbara on the streets of Gotham, a bad idea, I know, but I can't face her.

I got into my apartment to see Andromeda sitting in front of the door wagging her tail and going crazy to see me. I pet her head and gave her some food,

"I hope you had a better day than I did, Andromeda." I said to my dog while she ate. I put the dog food bag on the table,

"Oh, she most likely did," I pulled one of my hidden guns from under my table and pointed it to the person, "Andromeda got to spend time with her friend."

"Victor, what are you doing here?" I asked, lowering my weapon,

"You gave me a key to your place since we're, you know, best friends." Victor said walking over to me,

"I wasn't really expecting you to be getting into my house while I'm out and basically scare me half to death." I said putting the gun back under the table, Victor laughed,

"I wasn't expecting you to be out so late, I was expecting to find you with a half drunk bottle of wine in front of you," He said, "And an empty bottle next to you." He laughed, I sat on my sofa,

"I'm not that bad, Victor." He laughed at my comment,

"You are that bad, Gwen. Is it because we have to kill people everyday? Is it to get rid of guilt?" He asked, sitting next to me,

"KIlling people isn't easy, Victor. Especially when we don't know why we are exactly killing them. They might have families, I can't tell you how depressed I would be if I lost my brother or my mother." I said grabbing a bottle of wine I had on the table next to me. I opened the bottle and drank straight from it not even bothering to get a glass,

"Drinking away your problems isn't the best thing to do, Gwen. Over drinking can ruin your body," Victor grabbed the bottle from out of my hand, "You need to find someone that you can talk to about your problems that isn't me or your brother. You need to find someone you connect with in a different way, if you catch my drift." I laughed at his ridiculous comment,

"Who knew that Victor Zsasz is good at motivational speaking. If this whole 'hitman' thing doesn't work, you should definitely go into public speaking." I said, he smiled,

"But you will take my advice, Gwen?" He asked, putting his gloved hand on mine,

"I will, Victor. I promise." I gripped his hand and he got up off the sofa,

"I'll see you later, Gwen." He smiled, I nodded. He left my apartment, 'I need to find someone, like Victor said, but... who?" I asked myself. I looked to see Andromeda playing with one of her toys, it was the shape of a question mark. I got up off of the sofa and went to my bedroom. I got changed into black sweats and a loose, white top. I got into my bed and Andromeda immediately snuggled up beside me. Before I fell asleep, the one thing I thought of was... Edward Nygma.
