Gwen's POV

I walked out of the basement, I put my knife back in my boot before I walked into a room full of cops,

"Where's Jim?" Bullock asked, I shrugged my shoulders with a little smirk plastered on my face, "If you did anything to him, Cobblepot-"

"What are you going to do? Kill me like you did to my brother." I snapped and hit his shoulder with mine when I was walking away from Bullock. I walked out of the GCPD and drove back to my apartment.

When I got to my apartment, I went to my bathroom to get some medicine for my hangover. When I got out of my bathroom I saw Fish Mooney petting my dog, I grabbed my gun from my holster and pointed it at her,

"No need for that, Gwen." Fish turned to look at me and raised her hands, "I only came here to hire you for a hit." I lowered my gun,

"Who am I supposed to kill?" I asked while holstering my gun,

"Well we both want Falcone out of the picture," Fish said, I tilted my head a bit out of confusion, "He sent the kill order for Oswald." My eyes widened and I balled my hands into fists,

"Why do you want Falcone out of the picture?" I asked,

"I want to be the Queen of Gotham, and if you succeed then you will be my right-hand woman." She said, "But the only way for me to be queen is for Falcone to be... taken care of."

"I'll do it, but I'm only doing it for revenge for my brother. I could care less on who becomes leader." I said, I grabbed my sniper case and headed to the Falcone Mansion.

When I got to the Falcone Mansion, I perched myself on one of the roofs of the Mansion, I was hidden behind a tree. I got out my sniper and waited for Falcone to come out. After half an hour, Falcone walked out of his house, 'this is for Oswald, you asshole.' I aimed at his head, when I was about to shoot, someone hit me over the head.

Victor's POV

I saw Gwen perched on one of the roofs of the Falcone house. I saw Falcone get closer to leaving the mansion. I got up on the roof that Gwen was on, I got my gun, 'I can't kill Gwen,' I thought. I saw Falcone walk out of the mansion and Gwen was about to shoot. I got the butt of my gun and hit her over the head with it, she was out like a light. I picked her up and put her in the passenger seat of my car, I got in the driver's seat. I started to drive to Gwen's mother's place just so she wouldn't be alone.

When I got to her mother's apartment building, I got out of my car and grabbed Gwen out of the car. I headed to her mother's apartment, I knocked on the door,

"What happened to my Gwendolyn?" Gertrude asked in her Hungarian accent,

"She just passed out somewhere so I brought her here, Ms. Kapelput." Gertrude didn't know anything about what Gwen did as a job and I wasn't going to tell Gertrude. I walked into the apartment and placed Gwen on the sofa, I kissed her forehead,

"Thank you for bringing Gwendolyn to me." Gertrude said, I nodded and walked out of her apartment.

Gwen's POV

I woke up on a sofa, I looked around, 'I'm not in my apartment, where the hell am I and why do I have the worst headache,' I thought. I looked around and saw my mother come out of the kitchen with a tea kettle,

"Oh Gwendolyn, I'm so happy that you're ok!" My mother gave me a mug of tea. My mother and I were never close, she always loved Oswald more but she still did love me, I never got along with her like Ozzy did. I grabbed the mug full of tea and took a sip,

"What happened?" I asked, I rubbed the top of my head,

"A nice man dropped you off, he had no hair and dark eyes, very handsome. He said that you passed out and he just dropped you off here." She took a sip of her tea, "Are you two a thing?" My mother asked, I choked on my tea,

"NO! He's my best friend." I said, "Victor doesn't even see me that way anyway, he's like another brother to me." My mother nodded, I went back to drinking,

"Have you heard from Oswald? I hope nothing bad happened to him." She said, I started thinking of a lie so my mother wouldn't know that Oswald was dead,

"He's left the city for a bit. He actually wanted me to tell you he's going off the grid." I lied through my teeth, my mother believed me. I finished my tea and stood up from the sofa,

"It's been great talking, mother but I have to get back to my apartment to check on Andromeda." I put the mug on the table and went out of the apartment building. I walked back to my apartment, I felt around my body to see if I still had my guns on me, I did. I walked back to my apartment.
