Another TharnType Story

Brother's love...

It had been only two days since Type left for his house but for Tharn it felt like an eternity.

When did that boy became my world??

Tharn was feeling Type's absence constantly. It would be more 15 days he would have to bear the pain. Even though he would call and text Type almost every day few times, he finally felt the pain of distance.

Even his family noticed something was wrong and were planning to talk with him. His parents knew Tharn had moved out of dorm and was staying with one of his friend but they knew nothing more. Even Tharn's relationship was known to his parents through his older brother.

That evening, Tharn was playing piano with his sister Thanya when his parents called him for a talk.

His mother started "Son is there anything bothering you these days?"

Tharn was surprised to hear concern in his mother's voice. He really tried to be happy in front of them and not let them see his gloomy mood.

"No mom. Why?"

"Its just that ever since you came home you constantly keep looking at your mobile. You were always happy to be home but this time something feels off. So we thought we would talk with you."

"Please don't worry its nothing."

While Tharn was having conversation with his parents, his sister ran inside excited bringing ipad with her. Tharn saw his elder brother P'Thorn calling them from US.

He was excited as much as his sister to talk with his brother whom he greatly admired and respected above everyone. His brother had been his supporter in everything and he loved him.

For a while everyone took turn to talk with him. Later Tharn was left to talk with him all alone. He took the video call outside.

"Tharn I am so glad to see you after so many days. I especially called today as I knew you were home. Dad informed me you were coming home."

"Yes P', I am happy to be able to talk to you after so many days. How are you?"

"I am as fine as always Tharn. But mom dad shared some concerned about you. Are you alright?"

"Of course I am P'."

"Tharn you do know you can talk with me about anything. Is your relationship going on fine? How is you boyfriend Art?"

"Uhh.. P' actually Art and I broke up few months ago."

Thorn was glad on hearing the news. When Tharn had shared the news of his relationship with Art his dad and himself had kept check periodically. He knew how much Tharn had spend on his so-called boyfriend. But he loved his brother and couldn't bear to break his heart by showing Art's nature. So they had let things go for time being.

"Ohhh..so is that the reason for your bad mood? You can talk with me."

"No P' I am not sad bcoz of it. My break up with Art is all but forgotten. Actually I haven't shared with you something important."

"what is it Tharn?"

Tharn was all embarrassed and didn't knew how to bring his feeling into words

"P' I have found the love of my life."

"What?" Thorn was shocked the least to be said. He didn't even knew Tharn was already in another relation, let alone being so much in love. 

"Tharn why didn't you tell me? What's his name? where did you meet him? Is he the reason you moved from dorm and got an apartment?"

Thorn kept asking question without allowing Tharn to respond.

"P' let me answer. Yes he is the one with whom I am staying in the apartment. His name is Type and I met him in university. He is a junior studying Business management course. He was my room mate and I was the first who feel for him. After my break up he accepted me and I know he is the one P'. "

Thorn still shocked over Tharn's confession kept quite.

"Are you sure about him tharn? I mean you moved together so soon into relationship I don't think its wise. I wanted you to get to know him before moving forward."

"P' please don't worry. I know this time what I feel is real. I have never felt this way about any one. Trust me on this. I am soon going to bring him home to meet our family. How I wish you were here to meet him."

"Tharn I know you are in love but I still wish you would move with caution this time. I just don't want another gold digger using you for your name and money. You do understand what I am saying right."

"Type is not like that P'. It was me who asked him to move in together. And even after that he insisted on paying half the rent. I told him it wasn't necessary but he still insisted."

Thorn was not convinced his brother's new boyfriend was as he was described but he left the judgement for later.

"I am happy for you brother. I hope he is all you say. So if you are so happy with him why the gloomy mood? Is anything else wrong?"

"No P'. I am just missing him. He left for home for few days before semester starts and I cant seem to focus on anything."

Thorn was laughing and realized his brother had gotten himself very deep this time.

"when are you coming back home P'??"

"not for sometime. I have to take care of business. Its going on very well but I personally look into things so it takes all my time. but I will come to meet or else you could join me here once."

After taking for few more minutes, they said goodbyes.

Tharn was happy after a while thinking of his brother. On the other side of the world Thorn was concerned but he let it go.

I will handle things when time comes. No need to worry now.
