Chapter 5

At Malik Mansion

Arnav was walking here and there angrily. First that so-called innocent girl agreed to marry him for money. Also he found today his one staff  betrayed him. That staff gave the all information anout the new project to his rival company only just for money..

For money his staff betrayed him.

He was walking when his grandmother entered his room and speak up, " Arnav we brought your engagement rings. And you know Khushi wore the dress you gave her. Truly that read dress was so beautiful"

Hearing this Arnav fist his hand and turned other side to controlling his anger. Just then his phone rang...

Taking out his phone he saw the caller id and his eyes filled up fear and pain..

By his shaking hands he picked up the call and the person from other side speak up, " Mr. Arnav we are losing the patient. The condition of the patient is so critical. Please come here soon"

Hearing this phone fell from Arnav's hand and he looked at his grandmother and whisper, " She is leaving me"

Hearing this his grandmother grasped in shocked while tears rolled down on his cheeks..

Soon they both ran towards the hospital. Where the life of Arnav fighting between life and death..

When they reached the hospital. They got down from car and again run towards the private room 332.

When they reached there doctors already inside the room trying to save the patient..

Arnav looked inside from the glass window and saw doctors now giving electricit shock for getting a normal breath..

Soon a doctor come outside and speak up, " Mr. Arnav we are trying our best but we don't think we can save the patient. It's like the patient gave up.

"Hearing this Arnav's anger went on nine clouds he pushed the doctor against the wall and hold his throat tightly..

"The patient is my life. I want her back. You are a doctor so instead of lecturing me save the patient or I will kill you" Arnav shouted at the doctor and the doctor gulped fearfully looking at him..

Soon a strong arm hold Arnav hand. When Arnav looked he found His friend more like brother Ruhaan is standing there...

"Release him Arnav" Ruhaan told him and turned towards the doctor and speak up again, " We doctors should not give up. Let's ho inside" Saying this Ruhaan and the doctor went inside again...

Arnav turned and saw his grandmother crying silently sitting on a bench. He sat beside her soon his grandmother put her head on his chest and speak up painfully, " Save her Arnav"

At Khushi's Home

Khushi is sitting on her bed looking at the red dress, when she heard a knock at door.

When she come out she saw a servant of Payal's home standing there..

"You? Why are you here uncle?" Khushi asked him..

"Dear Payal mam send me here. She told me to say you she is sorry for taking time to answer about the file. Also she is going to another hospital today because there is some emergency so she told me to give you the latter" The servant explained and gave her a latter..

When Khushi took the latter the man went away..

Being confused Khushi closed the door and sat on a couch and start reading the latter...

My dear Khushi

I am sorry Khushi I was so busy that I couldn't get time to check the report..

And when I coming to you after checking the report I got an emergency call from another hospital. I have to go there.

So I am writing the latter for you. Khushi I read the medical report and found the patient has cancer and heart problem.

The patient is on her or his last stage. Doctor can't operate on him now.

According to the report the patient can survive for two- three months only if our Lord wish..

Sorry I couldn't tell you about it in person. But I will meet you soon..

From Payal....

After reading the latter Khushi started shaking and the latter fell from her hands.

Khushi broke down on floor and starts crying her heart out. When her grandmother entered home and saw Khushi is crying her heart out..

She ran towards Khushi and sat in front of her..

"What happened Khushi? Why you are crying dear? Did anyone said something to you?" Grandmother asked her worriedly..

But Khushi kept crying. Just then grandmother's eyes fell on the latter and on her medical report..

Sawing the report she got scared and looked at Khushi painfully and found Khushi already looking at her while tears rolling down on her cheeks continuously..

"W..why grnd..grandmother ? Why y..you lied to me? Why you hide this f..from me? D..Didn't I deserve to know this? Didn't you think me as yout family?" Khushi asked her while sobbing hard...

"No, dear. You are my family. I didn't want you live in fear of losing me. Khushi I want to live in happiness my dear" Grandmother told her softly controlling her inner pain..

Hugging her tightly Khushi speak up, " Don't leave me please grandmother. I beg you please don't leave me. I don't have anyone in this world. Don't leave me alone. I will die in loneliness"

Grandmother hugged her too but kept mute because she hasn't any thing to calm her. She just place her head on Khushi's shoulder...

When Khushi didn't get any reply from her grandmother she come out from hug and look at her..

But her eyes got widen sawing her grandmother's closed eyes..

"Grandmother what happened? Woke up, woke up please look at me grandmother please don't do this" Khushi begged her..

Just then a neighbor's Aunty entered their house..

Sawing her Khushi speak up, " Aunty please call the ambulance. Grandmother is sick. I need to admit her in hospital. Please"

The Aunty nodded and call the help line immediately..

Soon an ambulance stop in front of their home and two mam get down. They entered their home..

Khushi kept holding her grandmother's hand and speak up, " Uncle please drive fast"

And the leach man was standing little far from their home. He smiled looking at the old woman's condition..

"My first step is complete. Now I can make my entry as an angle. You old woman you live enough. Now it's the time for you disappear from the world so I can enjoy my life with this dedicated innocent rose"

Oh. At last I got the chance to make her mine...
