Chapter 7- The Next Day

(AVA)

When I woke up and saw no message from Emma, I kind of freaked out. Was she really doing this to us? Suddenly I got a phone call from Olivia

"Hey Ava, did Emma text you?"- Olivia said concerned

"No, but maybe she will talk to us at school."- I said

"Yeah maybe, meet be at school.- Olivia said and hung up

I am worried, but maybe Emma just forgot to text. Maybe she fell asleep. I got dressed as fast as I could and ran out the door to get to school. When I pulled up Olivia was already running to my car. I could tell she was worried about Emma. I mean we all been bestfriends for a few years. She always made sure our friendship was good. 

"Emma is already here."- Olivia said looking disappointed

"That's great then Olivia, lets go talk to her."- I said

"No, you don't want to."- Olivia said still looking disappointed

"Why not?"- I said confused

   There was a short pause

"Because she is with Liam, can you believe that."- Olivia said

"What! I didn't know he went to this school."- I said shocked

I'm guessing that we all just found out."- Olivia said shaking her head

  How haven't I saw Liam here before, he must be new. I couldn't stop thinking about this. I am so confused. Me and Olivia is just standing in silence now. It is very weird because we all usually meet up here and Olivia always makes jokes. And now look where we are today. The bell ring to me and Olivia walked to class. I saw Emma glance at us a few times in class, it was weird. I smiled  once when she looked at me, but she looked away and never looked back. All the notes I got from Noah by the end of the day didn't really seem to help, I was nervous about Emma. Me, Noah, and Olivia was trying to find Emma. I explained everything to Noah so he knows what is about to happen. Then we found her.

"Emma we need to talk."- I said and grabbed her arm

"No I don't to talk to people who don't support their bestfriend."- Emma said

"Seriously Emma, we can't do this forever."- Olivia said 

" Actually we can."- Emma said rudely 

"No we can't, this is stupid"- Olivia said annoyed

"Olivia your just jealous that somebody finally likes me and not yall. I might not be the prettiest like both of yall. But now somebody likes me. You should be happy."- Emma said almost crying

"Emma, you are beautiful. And we are happy for you, we just got mad because you let him come with us on our girls day."- I said being nice

"I agree with Ava, you are beautiful. But we are your bestfriends and yesterday Liam was being rude even though he doesn't know us. You should know that's a bad sigh already. I think you can find somebody better. I am happy for you but I don't think he can make you happy Emma."- Olivia said 

"Whatever, he does make me happy."- Emma said and walked away.

  We were standing in silence which seemed like forever.

"Well, that went well."- Noah said breaking the silence

"Olivia, why did you say that."- I said with my head down

"I spoke the truth, it needed to be said. Who else was going to say it?"- Olivia said

   About 30 minuets later I kissed Noah goodbye and went home. I layed down one my bed and sent Emma a message. I waited and waited for a reply. I began to fall asleep but then was interrupted with a bing. I  quickly picked up my phone and saw a text from Emma that said "Leave me alone for now or I will block your number." I sighed and through my phone back down. I'm not mad at Olivia for what she said, she was probably right. I'm just afraid that she made it worse. I couldn't stop thinking about when Emma called herself ugly. I felt so bad. She always calls herself the DUFF (dumb ugly fat friend), which is the friend people go to to get information on the more pretty friend. But she isn't. She is very pretty, but she wont listen to me when I tell her that. Maybe we just need to give her space to realize what she is doing. I called and told Olivia that and she agreed.
