Aphmau's POV
I was in the safe room. Aaron has gone out to look for survivors. He thought he heard screaming outside. I stayed here. Its been almost three hours, and the voices in my head are getting to me again. I still remember the lodge. It won't stop replaying in my head. "I hate you" "no friends" "I never loved you" "your nothing compared to my love" "stay away"
AAAAH! No! What am I thinking! These thoughts... why am I depressed again? I just now realize the tears streaming down my face. I quickly dry them, and go to the side room (in there it's a bathroom so from now on imma just call it the bathroom). We have small little weapons hidden around in case of a horde attack or a raider attack. I grab one of the knifes, roll up my sleeves, and I go for a cut, but I hesitate. 'Aaron will know if something's up... should I? He might come in any second...' I push those thoughts out of my head and continue where I left off.
*time skip cuz I'm lazy af*
Aaron's POV
I didn't find any survivors. I was very far from home, so I would've taken an hour or so. I'm honestly scared! What if Aph gets attacked!? I gotta push those thoughts out of my head. She said she'd call if something was close. I'm just so nervous!
Aphmau's POV
I was patching up my cuts when I heard Aaron come through the door.
"Aph? You there?"
"I'm in here just using the bathroom!"
I needed a better excuse! I had to clean up the mess!
"Oh, ok! Well when your done wanna help cook?"
"Umm, sure! Be right out!"
I finished patching up, cleaned up the blood in the sink and threw away the cloths. I then covered them up with some toilet paper. I rolled down my sleeves and flushed the toilet, so Aaron wouldn't be suspicious of me. I turned the water on for about 30 seconds, pretending to wash my hands, and dry them. I
Left the bathroom and put on my fake smile. I've been using it since childhood. My parents abused me when I was younger, so that's how I learned my smile. I've only used my real smile for when me and Aaron met up after a year. He asked me about it today though.
"Hey Aph?"
"Yea Aaron?"
"So, I've been thinking, and I was wondering. When we met up after a year, I think that you faked a smile. It didn't look like the one on your face right now. Why is that?"
"Ummmmm... well I don't know! I can only remember holding each other that day."
"Aph I know when you're lying. Just tell me!"
"U-ummm well..."
*BANG BANG* there's a hard knock on the door.
"Who's there?" I ask.
"It's..."

Ooooh cliffhanger aaah
Sorry if I'm bad at writing! I'm really trying here.
