      Today sucks.

The floorboards creaked above me as my neighbors got...busy upstairs. Every sound that came from them was only barely muffled by the ceiling, so I could hear everything.

I stuck my tongue out at the shaky ceiling before grabbing my coat and messenger bag. I started questioning my past self for choosing a hot pink coat for today, being that it didn't match my grey plaid shirt, or my deep blue skinny jeans. I searched my coat pockets and bag for my apartment keys while almost silently humming to myself. I cracked my knuckles and walked over to the door. "There you are~" I cooed, and snatched the dangling keys from the rusty nail they were hanging from. "Oh yes! ah! ah!" I made a gagging sound, trying not to puke at the mental images of my middle aged neighbors doing the do right above me.

I glanced at the broom leaning innocently against the trash bin. Before I could even manufacture an idea of interrupting their intimacy, their door handle started to jiggle and the sound of jangling keys filled my ears. The neighbor's love making suddenly came to an abrupt halt. I didn't know if I should be relieved or worried. I shrugged it off. If it was bad I would here about it on the news.

It was most likely their kid, At least I was pretty sure they had a kid. Whatever. I had to many things to worry about at the moment, like the fact that I was supposed to be out of the apartment by 4:15, and it was almost 5:00.

As if on queue, my door handle started to turn. "sh-shit!" Panic quickly took over my body as I ran to the sliding glass door, hoping I could get out before my mother opened the door and killed me. I struggled for about a millisecond before swinging the door open, hoping she didn't catch my pinkness running outside.

I rushed out of the apartment at  an alarming speed. I did a sharp turn and was about to pass the noisy neighbors back door when it flew open. Not even given enough time to think 'stop' my face connected with the door a second after it opened.

I fell back, landing on my butt with an "oomph". Warm liquid immediately rushed down my lips and chin. Still in shock of what just happened, I didn't even notice the door close. Or the girl who was standing above me. "What just happened" I croaked, spitting a little blood. "I am so sorry! I didn't mean to hit you! Oh god your nose is bleeding! It's really bad! Oh my god-" I stood up (not without a bit of a stagger) and said "Calm down, I think I'm okay". She looked really surprised at what I just said for some reason, but just shook her head vigorously. "No you're not! Your nose might be broken! You could have a concussion!" She's loud, ugh. My head was now throbbing. "I have no Idea what you just said, but I could use a bathroom right now." Yep, I was gonna puke. I couldn't focus on anything.

I brought my hand to my face and touched my nose, and when I pulled back I felt even more Light headed. So. Much. Blood. She grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards the door that smashed my face. "H-hey you gotta slow down. I can hardly walk right now." She let go of me for a second then wrapped her arm around my waist, causing my breath to hitch just a little.

After she and I awkwardly shuffled through her apartment trying hard not to get blood on the off white carpet, we made it to the bathroom. And not a moment too soon. She awkwardly patted my back as I puked my guts out, Saying something I couldn't really understand at the moment.

" I completely understand if you hate me, I should've paid more attention. I am so sorry, god I gave you a concussion! I fucked up so bad!" She kept rambling, but I was only picking up bits and pieces of what nonsense was spewing out her mouth.

Once I was done wishing I was dead, she told me to sit on the toilet so she could clean my face. She continued to throw differently worded apologies at me as she brought a wet rag to my face. I bit my lip, watching her every move. I hated the site of my own blood, It made me so queasy. She had her fingers placed firmly on my chin, keeping me from pulling back. "...Hope I didn't cause any permanent damage to your face-are you gonna puke again?" she let go of my face and gave me a worried look. "N-no, I just," I caught a glimpse of the bloody rag in her hand, making me swallow hard.
