10. The Dinner Party

It was once again the dinner party that my father always plan during summer and it was also the night of the first gathering of Voldemort's army.

I wore my finest suit that I had, it was all blacked polyester suit. Of course I couldn't forget to put back my snake pin on my tie.
My hand still aches from the training I have been doing with arabella, I was getting better at it. I had cuts, scars and bruises on my hands and face. I used a charm that makes it invisible to others so no one could see it even my parents. I took a deep breath and looked at myself in the mirror

"You can do this .." I spoke as I went out of my room and greet everyone down stairs.

I saw Barty Crouch Jr, talking to my father.
He killed his own father during the TriWizard Cup, Alecto and Amycus Carrow were here as well they were looking at me like I just did something wicked. I look around and saw Fenrir Greyback, the werewolf like my old professor Remus Lupin and he smelled like a wet dog. Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange, She waved at me as I walked towards my mother who was talking to snape.

"Draco .."

"Lestrange is here .. I am afraid of what will Arabella would-" I shut my lip as my father approached us.

"Would what exactly Draco ?" My father asked as I stayed silent.

"Does the girl know the one who killed her own father is here.." Severus Snape speaks up.

"Not to worry .. she already knew about it" My father told snape as he turned to me.

"Draco .. why don't you escort Miss Black here so we can start" I do what I was told, I walked back to the stairs until I saw arabella.

She was stunning, she was wearing a black low back dress. she made her way down the stairs slowly and I was watching her every step. Few seconds until she reaches the black wooded floors, Her eyes met mine. I was snapped quickly as I heard my father called my name.
I raised my arm towards her as she held on, we both started to walk to the dining hall. The doors swing open, I felt her tight grip on me, Everyone was looking as we started to walk slowly. The grip was getting tighter and tighter, I saw Severus Snape looking at us. We reached to my parents at the centre of the room. My father called out everyone.

"Tonight we celebrate our newest member..
Arabella Black !- Volunteered and Chosen by our leader the dark lord himself!- Arabella Black is soon to be one of us!- soon after she is marked with the dark mark- She will fulfill our leader's wish and command! Welcome My dear .. you have chosen the right path.." Father held Arabella's hand and placed a kiss on it.

The dinner was started as everyone was talking and eating and celebrating, Arabella was talking to the others while I was beside my mother. My eyes were set on arabella, after my father's speech I still can't stop thinking that Arabella Choose the path that she can avoid.

"Your eyes can't seem to take it off from arabella" My mother spoke as I gulped and fixed my tie.

"She's beautiful Isn't she ?" My mother asked.
When I first saw arabella black came to hogwarts, I never took off my eyes off her.

"Indeed mother .." I said as a response.

Everyone one minding their own business, I had the opportunity to finally have a conversation with her. She was sitting alone near by the fire place and drinking her wine.

"Everyone seems to be fond of you" I spoke

"Yeah.. especially wormtail.." She Pointed out as wormtail waved at us with his odd and creepy smile and went back to talking to Severus Snape.

"Creepy little man he is .." She chuckled and Nodded.

"Would you like to get out of here ?"

What I meant was going for a stroll by the garden. All eyes were on us when we left the house, it was a little bit windy and cold night.
I lend my coat to arabella to keep her warm.
We walked further near the cliff where the sea meets the land. It was full moon, we stood up near the cliff and we didn't talk for a moment.
We just stood up and watched the water hits the rocks, birds and bats flying, the moon was the light of the night.

"Draco .." She spoke

"What is it like to have a father ?" She asked.

"My father controls my life actually.. but other than him being the most snobbish, scary and mean appearance .. he protects us" I told her as she nodded.

"I never met my father .. but it's like I have but only in letters and news papers from the daily prophet" That's right, Sirius Black was arrested before she was born. It was the biggest news and scandal of all time, Sirius Black Told Voldemort where was Lily and James Potter Hiding along with their son Harry Potter The Boy Who lived. But he was proven innocent by potter saying wormtail told the dark lord where the potters are.

"I'm sorry .." I told her.

"It's alright..I wished he could have just visited me or see me when he got out from Azkaban-"
It was the first time I saw her cried, I came closer to her as I wrap my one arm on her.
It was awkward but My mind told me to do it and so did my heart and Didn't know why.

"She's good for him.." I told Severus as we watched Draco and Arabella.

"But he can endanger her .." Severus spoke but for me I can tell Arabella is someone who protects and takes risks. But I needed to gain her trust and give her time to be fond with Draco.

"Arabella is filled with courage.."

"And Hatred" He added.

"Time will tell Severus.. time will tell.."
