"Damn you look hot!" Randall smirked at me, proud of her master piece.
''Thanks!" I laugh. Wow she was good, I scanned myself in the mirror one last time. I cant believe this is really me. Months ago I would of never had the courage to wear something like that, that was fifty pounds ago. I finally felt confident and I loved it. My long sleeve red mini dress suited my curves, yes cures, I never in a million years thought I would be able to lose all that weight, I was damn proud of it. '
I applied a little of my favorite perfume and I was ready to go, "Are you ready?" I asked Randall.
Randall bit her lip."Yes-no-yes, wait am I?"
GET READY DREW.
"Yes you're a bad ass bitch and Carlos is going to be lucky if he can even score a dance with you." I pep talked her while I shook her shoulders.
Her face turned from doubtful to confident, "You're right!" She smiled, "And I will not let him have me without a fight!"
"That's the spirit!" I fist pumped the air.
When we made it to the dance I was thankful that my mom had held us back, unsure if she wanted her only daughter going to her first high school party with her crazy best friend.
She thought I wasn't ready...and to be quite honest, I was starting to agree with her.
I stopped dead on my tracks, in front of the door.
Randall stopped her chattering and asked,"What's wrong?"
"Are you sure we should do this?" I asked, I looked fearfully at the door.
Randall breathed out, "Yes you're a bad ass bitch, now lets go!" She pulled onto my hand and tried to pull me in but I stabbed my nude pumps into the grass making Randall's efforts useless.
"This is stupid Kaden!"
"Why?"
Randall took a deep breath to calm herself and closed the space between us. "Both you and I know why you're here," She paused and checked for any snoopers, "Make him pay. "
"You're right." I nodded, trying to convince myself.
"Good now lets go." Randall held out her hand, and we walked into the part together.
The party was nothing special, just drunk teens grinding on each other and the music loud enough to bust your ear drums.
I stood there awkwardly, I had been so wrapped up on thinking of a plan to ruin Chase's night that I hadn't really planned what I was going to do for the next hours.
Maybe I could just stay with Randall, "Hey Ran-."
To late Randall was already on the dance floor. That wasn't a big surprise, Randall had always been the life of the party.
She waved at me and I smiled back.
I looked around trying to find Drew, no luck.
"Hey!" I looked back, and smiled at the familiar green eyes.
"Hey Drew, just the person I was looking for."
His face instantly lit up, "Wow I'm flattered."
I laughed, "You want a drink?" He pointed at his cup.
"I don't drink." I yelled over the music.
"I respect that, I don't drink either."
I rolled my eyes, "Really?" I asked sarcastically, then I motioned to his cup.
I chuckled-I think the room was a little to dark, "It's pop, I'm an athlete, I don't drink." He assured me.
"Sure, I'll take a drink." I smiled and turned to hide the heat that had rushed onto my cheeks.
He took me by surprise as he took hold of my hand. We walked into the kitchen. There was an assortment of alcoholic beverages.
Sure he didn't drink. Liar.
Drew walked over to the big double fridge and took out a Pepsi.
"Thanks."
He smiled and leaned on the counter next to me, "You're so beautiful."
I blushed, "Okay you're way cuter now."
And guess what?
I blushed even more.
"Stop!" I laughed and smacked him on the chest.
Why were all Centenari guys so smooth? They all had a way with words, and I like it.
The kitchen was really quiet-well almost except for...
"Hey Drew!" Drew and I jumped,Chase walked over sluggishly between me and Drew and put his arms around us.
"Chase.." Drew said, he ran his hand down his face clearly annoyed and that made me smile.
"Hey buddy!"
I scrunched my nose up,"Are you drunk?"
"No."
Lie, once his breath hit my face I knew he was drunk. His breath wreaked beer and vodka?
"Ew..."
I don't know why but I always had a think against guys who got drunk.
I shook his arm off of me shoulders.
Chase rolled his eyes.
"Maybe it's time for you to go Chase."
Chase shook his head, "No Drew the party is barley getting started!"
He hollered, "Okay Chase maybe Drew's right." I backed.
Chase smiled at me, he took me by the arm and pulled me to him, "Let's go dance!"
"Chase stop!" I tried to wiggle out of his arms but it was no use, his muscles were clammed up and his arms trembling as the adrenaline kicked into his body.
Drew stepped in and put his hand over Chase's who was gripping my arm a little to harshly, "Chase you should just leave." He said calmly trying not to cause a scene.
"Back off!" Chase let go of me and pushed Drew into the counter.
"Chase stop!" I yelled and pushed him back.
Drew got up and tried to take a swing at Chase's face, but he quickly dodged it and took me back to his side.
"Let her go!"
"No she's mine!" Chase yelled at Drew.
He planted a kiss on my cheek, my face twisted in disgust.
Drew's fist clenched up, but I held my hand up. "He's drunk Drew, it's better if I take him to his house."
"You can't leave with this dick, he's crazy!" he exclaimed.
"I'll be fine." I promised. All I wanted to do was get out of there, Chase or no Chase. A crowed of people were already peering through the kitchen door.
I rolled my eyes and turned to Chase, he had his arms around me and was trying to regain his balance, it was no use he was too drunk, "Look Chase, I'm leaving with you." I told him.
He smirked at me and pushed me closer to his body.
I don't know why but I had a feeling I was going to regret my decision.
