Chapter 17

Shay

Today I woke at 5am . It's our first day back to school, and I had to make sure Sean, Raven, and myself, was ready for today, which meant I had to get up early and make breakfast, and bathe Raven so that she could go to her grandmothers. I had to get ready for school and make sure that Sean was ready also. School starts at 7:30. I made sure to pack Raven her day bag which consist of Her daily snack, juice, her favorite blanket, and her a extra pair of clothes and underwear. It was harder to make sure everything was together, and everyone was together, but I managed to get everything I needed done in the right amount of time. 

As I made my way down the hall, and to my classes, which I was dreading, I already knew the day was going to drag on forever.

School was exactly what I thought it was going to be, boring, and filled with snot nose bitches who I couldn't wait to get away from. I couldn't wait to get home to Raven, I missed her like crazy. Shawn and I didn't even really get to spend time together, and I missed the time we used to spend together. I couldn't wait to go home and cuddle with my babies, I am so happy this is my last year.

I waited outside in Shawn's car for him to come out so that we could go get Raven. He told me that he had to talk to Aj but got damn why in the hell is it taking him so damn long, I mean it couldn't have been anything that was this important it couldn't have waited until we got home. I hate when he does that. I'm tired and I just wanna have family time. After 20 minutes I saw him start to make his way towards the car.

"Damn took you long enough," I said when he got back in the car .

"I had business to take care of " Hereplied before pulling out of the parking lot .

"What the fuck u had to do that's before you daughter . Yo mom didn't even want to watch her now use gotta hear her bitch about being late! It's like I'm talking to my damn self."

" Damn don't argue with me i had to take care of business. Mom will be fine she will find something to bitch about anyways."

" you no what u right but I'm not dealing with it because she not my mom" I stayed quite the rest of the way to his moms. When we pulled up to Shawn's moms I sat in the car and didn't budge.

"Aren't you going to go get raven? " He asked I simply said

"No" and looked out the window

"And why not ?" He asked

"Because I'm not dealing with yo moms shit so i'll sit right here and wait for you to come out with raven"

"Man you on so other shit like what the fuck is yo problem " He asked

" First we are late picking raven up because of some business you had to take care of what's more important thank raven . And you say I'm the one with problems. Just please stop talking to me"

" Your being petty as Fuck shay. I'm going to go raven and we will talk about this later" He said getting out the car.

"Whatever" I mumbled but I guess he heard me because the look he gave me before walking into his moms house was one i'd never seen him give me.

Shawn

Man shay was being petty and it was irritating me so i got out the car and walked inside me moms house.

"You are 30 minutes late that's why I didn't wanna watch her she been cry all day for the chick shay" I ignored her and picked up ravens bag grabbing her hand and leading her to the door.

"Did you hear what I said to you Shawn?" She asked glaring at me .

"Yea "I said opening the door .

"See you tomorrow ma" He said closing the door.The ride how was silent no one said a word and raven was sleep.

When we got home I picked up raven and brought her inside. Putting her to bed I headed to our room. I needed a shower but i also needed to make dinner. I wasn't sure which one was going to come first tho. So I decide that I would just do a quick wash up and make us a quick dinner .

"What would be quick to make?" I asked myself subs was the first this that came to mind.
We had everything to make subs and even a couple of bags of chips to go with the sandwich. When I had finished making sandwiches i placed our food on the table. But when i went to go and get raven that's when I realized Shawn never came in . I checked outside to see if his car was in the driveway but it wasn't so I decide to call him to see were he was but when I called he sent me to voicemail.

"The fuck!" I whispered to myself . After calling him about 4 more times and repeatedly being sent to voice mail i gave up . I was pissed but taking care of raven was more important at the moment.After getting raven me and her ate dinner together.

"Where's dada?" Raven asked stuffing a chip in her mouth. I gave her a half smile and brushed off chip crumbs from around her mouth .

" I have no idea " I said to her she didnt question me further and i finished my food before taking her upstairs to bathe her.

" His ass better show up soon " I said to myself.

"Ywou swaid a bwad word" Rae said I had totally forgot I was talking to her.

"I'm sorry Rae "

"It's otayy just dwont sway it agwain" she said causing me to laugh she is something else I swear.

"Your adorable" I said to her she just smiled . Putting her the tub i went to find her pj's . But when i returned i found someone i wasn't expecting .

" When did you get here ?" He completely ignored me and placed raven in the tub.

"Im talking to you" I said to him.

"Can you please just let me bathe my daughter in peace " He snapped at me grabbing the clothes out of my hands and closing the bathroom door in my face. I decided not to argue with him so I grabbed my pillow and grabbed a cover from the hallway closet and I went downstairs so that I could sleep on the couch. I said a silent prayer. Was off to sleep .All of s sudden I felt arms wrap around my waist I woke up immediately. I look at my waist and notice that Shawn's arms were around me I remove them so I could get up.

"Please don't I just wanna lay with you bae I don't wanna argue we argued all fucking afternoon lets just sleep." I was hesitant about it but i knew he was right. I got up and headed upstairs.

"Really shay!?" He asked.

"What?" I said turning to face him.

"You're still going to act like that. "

"I'm not acting like anything I'm going to get in the bed. We both aren't going to be able to sleep comfortable on that couch."

" oh " he said feeling stupid as he followed me up the stairs.
