I look at Jordan and smirk.

We just turned over the treasure to the Skipper. It was a hard interview. We told him almost everything. We didn't want to make Dave sound like a nut case, so we kept his crazy desire to commit suicide to return to his dead wife out of it.

We were actually given a reward for returning the treasure to the navy. In fact they gave us both enough to almost retire!

We just came out of the jewelers, both relieved of a small portion of our new found cash.

We asked both the girls to come meet us at the park.

I'm nervous. And from the look on Jordan's face, so his he! It's good I'm not alone in this. I just hope I'm not making a mistake, but deep down, I know I'm not.

Finally the girls stroll into the park.

I take Jen by the hand, at the same time Jordan takes Sara's and we bring them over to the bench.

They look totally confused, which I love. She loves surprises, and this one will probably knock her socks off.

Jordan and I kneel at the same time taking each of our intended's hands and pull out our rings, just like we practiced.

"Will you marry me?" we ask in unison.

Jen's eyes fill with tears, and all she can do is nod.

Sarah has her arms wrapped around Jordan's neck and is soundly kissing him... That's not a bad idea!

I kiss Jen's lips and she squeals in delight.

I guess that means yes all around!

We will have to tell the girls what happened on our little adventure later. I can't bring myself to bring the mood down.

I can only hope our love with be strong as Dave's was or Elaine.
