Stronger together, right? (Chapter 5)

Tommys pov

"they all leave"  says Nick as he looks down as i silently wonder what did he do to drive them away? I put my hand on his shoulder in the silence i feel it tense as he says "its all there fault"  That's the least of my worries it seems, i need to get out of here and soon because i know people will be looking for me so i say "we should head out, if you'd rather me not come with you i understand but either way we should go soon, it's getting late" and Nick takes a deep breath "No i'm fine and i agree, we should go and i have a car lets go." He gets up and i say "Wait, there is two people who need to come with us, please? It will be worth your while, i promise" and he sighs saying "yeah lets go get them but i thought you had no one?" and i say "these aren't normal people, please just understand" he looks at me as says "but quickly you know we don't have much time" and i nod excitedly as we walk over to his car and hop in, as i direct him to the base where the two people who were there for me when i didn't want them to be.

*FLASHBACK OF WHAT WAS MISSED*

I stay there, out of breath having nowhere to go because i couldn't go back home. I was stuck with no one and nowhere to go. I sob softly until a girl with brown hair in converse and black jeans with a blue t-shirt walks in. She looks around my age and shes with a guy who had bright pink hair and looked almost looked like royalty from the way he was dressing with a white dress shirt with frills on the front and golden buttons and a red jacket with dots on the white edging  "hey, I'm Quinn. what happened?" the girl says softly as she crouches down to my level and i mumble "go away" and i look the other direction as the boy with pink hair laughs "oh come on, suck it up and bite the bullet will you?" and Charlie hits the boy in the balls "shut up techno! He obviously went through something and morally it's not okay to steal from him...I MEAN IGNORE HIM. Anyways, i'd take his advice on the rest of it but in a nicer tone heh. I just wanna help!" After a long silence she stands up and says "okay i get it, see you around" and as she turns her heel to walk away i say "w-wait...I'm Tommy and I ran away from home and i have no place to go right now so i have to sleep here for the night."

 She turns her head and smiles "oh? Well that's awful let me and Technoblade help you! We don't have much but you can stay with us at our bunker, its an abandoned building just along the road here" Her warm smile reminds me of him, so what could go wrong? Get murdered in my sleep or POSSIBLY get murdered in my sleep? I'll take the second option i guess. "Sure, why not" and i follow the two to their base in the city for the night. "So why did you guys help me?" and Techno says "Well, me and Quinn were going to rob you at first till she saw you were cry- OW!" he says yelping in pain and i chuckle nervously "so you guys were going to rob me?" Quinn says "well, yeah but not now! Don't worry, i know it doesn't seem like it now, Mainly cause of Technoblade but , we are nice people or at least i am" she says giggling as Techno gives her a noogie. "Are you siblings or something?" and the teenager sits silently for a second before saying "No, though he is like a brother to me we are not blood related. I don't have any family anymore. Techno did know my brother so he took me under his wing since he knew my brother and i was alone so he helped. I guess that's why i was a little compelled to help you in a way, you remind me of when i didn't know Techno and i wasn't happy so i wanna change that, i guess." Techno nods and says "she was basically my little sister before that anyways so i had to take you in. Your still a pain though, you know that?" The two laugh through the pain i can see in their eyes, how do they do it? "we are here, mi casa et tu casa Thomathy" says Techno and i look around, pretty nice for a house that they fixed up that was ravaged by infected and abandoned. Me and Quinn talk for the night and Techno retires early. That's when Quinn puts on soft music and pulls out six beers as she laughs "want some?" She asks

-small time skip-

"So, what's the thing you miss most about the old world?" She asks me and i sit there and think then sigh "probably my best friend, i lost him not to long before you found me" and she gives me a small smile "you have me a Techno if you want us, we may be a shitty substitute but we are stronger together right?" I smile and say " yeah we are, thanks Quinn" and she gives me a side hug and smiles "no problem cutie! Goodnight then, sleep well Tommy" she says giving me a small nickname and walks back to her room as i flop on the couch and fall asleep

something tells me i'll be happy again.

*end of flashback*

Sapnaps POV

"here!" says Tommy so i stop as i watch two people walk out with backpacks and i ask tommy "who are they? Can i trust them?" and Tommy says "yeah as long as you trust me, i am TommyTrusty after all" and i laugh at the nickname as the two people get into the car "Hi! I'm Quinn and this is Techno, don't worry we won't do anything we just wanna be taken out of here. I promise, RIGHT TECHNO?" The young girl says and the boy named Techno says "i only THOUGHT of killing him and taking the car i didn't say we should do it!" I tense up until the pink hair boy laughs and says "i really scared you didn't i? Nah i promise we are safe i mean we did take Tommy and hes not dead yet!" Tommy just shakes his head to there words. "What's your favourite animal?" the young girl asks and i say "i don't know pandas i guess..why?" and she sits there for a second and i say "I'm calling you Sapnap from now on!" and tommy says "she gives everyone nicknames, just go with it. You're now Sapnap sorry, your perma nicknamed like Techno" Quinn smiles and puts her head on tommys shoulder as she sighs "thanks for taking us Mr. Sapnap!" She slowly drifts off to sleep as Techno looks out the window and Tommy says "i promise there good, either way..."
