Nyx x Nox | Prom Night [5]

Nox couldn't help the excitement in him that's slowly bursting at the seams. This will be the first time that he would actually participate in such a big event. Why he didn't go to the other proms that the other grades have years ago? He didn't really know himself, but that still didn't let it cloud his mind for such an exciting night.

But currently he was off to the side, his head bopping up and head as he bounced on his toes, going along with the bubbly song. He had a few friend dances with the others and completely ignored Lennox who stood by the punch bowl, a scowl on his face as he averted any eye contact.

Unbeknownst to him, he didn't hear Nyx slowly creeping up behind him before grabbing his hand and pulled him into a dance, a bit teasing smile on her face as she was successful in flustering the boy she pulled into a dance.

"Hey there." she smoothing said as she led, making Nox's face go even redder.

"H-H-Hi..." he stutters, making Nyx giggle before planting a kiss on the bridge of his nose. 

"You okay? Your face is redder than Leo's bandana." she asked with a warm smile as Nox blinked at her.

"I-I-I'm go-od!" he nodded his head.

"You sure?"

Before Nox could answer, he was suddenly spun and dipped, his eyes locking on Nyx's grin above him. He stares at her before sucking up all the courage he has left and quickly kissed her. Nyx was shocked when he did that, pulling him back up and blinked as he covered his face with his hands.

She blinked, her cheeks tinting pink before smiling and she hugged him reassuringly as she let him take his time to calm down, kissing his cheek when he was.

"Love you, my puppy Nox Nighthawk." she smiled, and smiled shyly back.

"I love you more, Nightingale." he said, making he chuckle and press a loving kiss on his lips and forehead.
