𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝. 02

*Mori's POV*

Two days had passed since we came to Japan and we settled quite easily to our new house.

But today, I had somewhere to be. Yūei. I was actually requested on the recommendations, after they took noticed we were coming back. Even if I want to go to Yūei, Kōtarō wanted to go to Shiketsu High School.

Anyway, back to my Recommendations Exam. I had already taken the Written Exam while I was on America. I was on the auditorium room, and there were some people already who had arrived early. I heard that the Entrance Exam, for those who weren't in the recommendations, were just the other day. 'Katsuki told me he did it'.

The Pro Hero, Present Mic, presented us the courses we would have to do. First course was to run with other contestants through a three-kilometer long obstacle, we can use of quirks whoever we want. We would be tested for our strengths, quick response and reflexes. Nothing too difficult at first glance.

We were taken away to a field, probably the P.E. fields they got here. I had my boater hat ready, hopefully I won't loose it with all of this exercises.

With the three-kilometer long obstacle only six students will participate at the same time. Surprisingly I was chosen with the first six contestants. I was nervous, but everyone looked confident in themselves.

There was this tall, black hair guy. He was full of excitement and was very talkative. There's a girl with black hair styled in a high pony tail. She looked calm and just looking at her you could tell she was a leader type. There was someone who caught my eye, he looked unique. He stood out from the crowd. A dual hair boy, his right side was red and his left side was white. He had a big scar on his right side of the eyes, around his eye. He was very quiet, but I bet he wouldn't hesitate to be rude if they bother him.

I stopped looking at my contestants as a loud whistle erupted through the field. The dual hair boy and black hair guy ran like the wind. I was shocked but quickly shake it off and started running alongside other 3 contestants.

There were many obstacles that we had to avoid, jump, and slide down. After probably three minutes into the race I could see the finish line. I was beside the first two contestants from the beginning. As we were getting closer, the dual hair boy used his quirk and slide faster to the finish line, as the excited boy used his quirk and wind got out of his shoes and it pushed him way faster. I wasn't going to just let them win, so I transform into one of my many transformations. A cheetah. My hat blew threw the wind, but I would have worry about that later. I started to run faster, getting also closer to the others two. The dual hair boy didn't noticed, but the other did. He pushed even more and managed to finish first, with me just a mere centimeter behind making me go in second place.

After we crossed the line we just stayed there, the others panting and catching their breathe. I was going to get my hat back as it was flying towards my direction. I jumped and got it with my mouth. Putting it loosely on my head and I transformed back to normal. Thankfully Shi-nii got me some clothes that would stay when I do my transformations.

"Woah! You were so cool!" A voice behind me said, making me jumped from surprise. I turned around and was met with a blue jacket and the number 41. I had to looked up and see it was the excited boy and wind user. "O-Oh, thanks. Your quirk is really impressive." I said to him, fixing my hat so it wouldn't fall. "Really?! Well thank you! Your quirk is great too. Really impressive." He said with a smile. I was about to thanked him again but he said he was going to talk to the other boy. I saw from the distance that they were taking, but for some reason the other boy just had this intense glare and walked away. Leaving the black hair boy shocked and unmoving.

It was time for the other contestants to race and we had to be in the back waiting. After everyone finished, Present Mic inform us that the interview would be held in three days and we were able to leave to our homes.

*Timeskip*

Three days later I was back in Yūei, having an interview with some judges and teachers. After a long hour the interview came to an end.

Days later I got a letter with a hologram of a.. bear, cat, dog..? Creature who was actually the principal saying I got accepted. School was starting in a week, but unfortunately I wouldn't be able to start class at the same time as others. Some Hero organization and agency had us interview explaining what had happened when we were in America.

"We couldn't get much information of what happened to your mother, former Pro Hero Heavenly Panther. We would like to know the details." An agent told us as he was reading some files. I was together with my two brothers, who were clearly tense at this sudden meeting. "Well we went to America for our.. father's job. He wanted all of us to go with him, and our mother managed to get a transfer. We only stayed two years, as the incident happened." Shi-nii said, glancing at us to see if we were too uncomfortable to hear it or even mention what happened. "And what's this incident that happened?" The Agent asked. "Our mother was call for work one day in the evening, a gang war was happening. Many people got injured and even killed. Our mother protected the civilians and got many to safety... but a villain with a giant quirk appeared out of nowhere and started to destroyed the buildings. Our mother.. sadly passed away trying to fight him." The agent was silently taking notes. I knew Shi-nii was upset to relieve all that, and all I could do now was to squeeze his hand and offer him a small smile.

"What about your father? Did he also died in he incident?" The agent asked. "No, after mom was sent to the hospital and died there he didn't appeared at all. When we came back to our rented house there was a letter left by him. Saying he had to leave us because of some inconvenience. We don't have any contact with him ever since." Kō-nii spat. He has been mad about dad's absence after mom died.

"I see... I apologize you all had to go through that and relieve those moments again by informing us. But it was necessarily. You can all go back to your home, we would stay in contact if anything happens." The agent said to us and someone showed us the exit. I held Kō-nii's hand as we walked away, I didn't liked the feeling of this place and he didn't mind.

(Sorry this chapter might be meh, I didn't had much motivation or ideas on how to do it so it's kinda rushed. )
