The Beginning of an Ordinary yet Extraordinary Life

Chapter 3

*breath in breath out* Y/N has finally reached her classroom, before entering her class to take her Mid-term, Y/N rewinded everything in her head that just happened to her literally five minutes ago. She started to consciously feel bad for not being able to give a proper apology to the guy she bump into at the cafe earlier, but soon to brush it away because now, what she needs to do is focus on acing her mid-term and get through her junior year as smoothly as possible.

DIALOGUE

Kristal: ( one out of two Y/N best friends) " Why are you breathing so hard, and where's your cup of vanilla latte that you always have in the morning?"

Y/N: * sigh*, " Long story, I'll wait and explain it to both you and Amy at the same time."

Kristal: "If you say so, but good luck on the mid-term, because I definitely need luck right now."

Y/N: " Good Luck Kristal, you got this."

As Y/N sends her encouragement to Kristal, she can't help but keep on rewinding what happened earlier at the coffee shop.

*45 minutes has passed by and the mid-term finally ended*

Y/N received a text message from the Open Sesame group chat. " Meet up in 15 minutes at our usual place."

Y/N was the first one to arrive at Common & Barnies Cafe, which was Amy, Kristal and Y/N usual hangout spot after classes. Being inside the coffee shop once again, Y/N can't help but to keep on rewinding of the incident this morning. As she gets lost in her thoughts, both Amy and Kristal walk in together and spot Y/N, in which they immediately proceed to take a seat with a fully anticipated face, waiting to hear of what happened to Y/N earlier this morning. Y/N proceed to explain in careful details of everything that happened to her in the earlier incident, but Amy and Kristal can't help but to tease Y/N for her action.

Amy ( Y/N other best friend) : "Bro, you telling me that you didn't look up once???"

Kristal: " That dude that you just bumped into, could've been Matthew Gray Gubler, and you wouldn't even notice, because you're too busy thinking about the mid-term."

Y/N: What else was I supposed to do? You guys know how awkward I am in this type of situation."

Y/N: " Plus, Kristal, why would Matthew Gray Gubler be getting coffee near our campus?"

Kristal: " Hey, anything is possible you never know, maybe you've been thinking about him too much, that you actually manifested him to be near you."

All three of us started to laugh about how stupid but at the same time funny that idea sound. After the mini-tea catch up session with Kristal and Amy, we've all decided that it's time to head home as it's getting late and a stack of homework is waiting for us to complete. We all say goodbye, and see you tomorrow as usual.
