"Hey! Don't make me put you in time out."
The three arrived at their fathers room, Five began rummaging through blazers and shirts. Klaus sat down on Reginalds bed, scanning the room as he's never been in there. None of them have. Y/N let out a sigh and sat down beside him. He looked at her but she kept her eyes facing forward. Klaus thought she was just watching Five, but soon realised that she was staring blankly at a wall.
"How does it feel?" He asked her softly.
"How does what feel?" She snapped out of her trance, looked at him and mirrored his tone.
"All of it."
She scoffed lightly. "Where do you want me to start?"
"Anywhere."
They spoke quietly so they wouldn't be overheard by Five.
"Five being back is like, really weird. I'm not used to his presence anymore... I'm used to mourning it. And he's been very, vague and... distant? In a way? about what happened to him while he was gone. It just- I know he's under a lot of stress and pressure right now... But at least make an effort to tell us the full story."
"Time changes people I guess." Klaus ran a hand through his sloppy hair.
"Was that pun intended?" Y/N laughed, for the first time since Five got back.
"What-? Oh no, no it wasn't, I didn't even notice." Klaus joined her, laughing quietly.
"Yeah, and being a kid again fucking sucks." She chuckled lightly. "Let's not forget that."
"Mmm. I can imagine." Klaus copied her.
Y/N decided to stop it there, she knew Klaus was high and it was probably going in one ear and out the other. But it was nice to have someone other than Five listen to her for once. It was never a dull moment with Klaus, he always had a way of making Y/N cheer up. That was more then she could say for the rest of her siblings.
Five walked over. "Alright. Change. We'll wait outside in the car." He put the suit in between Y/N and Klaus and began to walk out without another word.
"See what I mean?" She whispered and she pointed to Five, who was walking away.
Klaus nodded sadly, not saying anything.
"Alright, I'll leave you change. Don't take too long, you know Five can get very impatient." She chuckled hallowly.
Klaus watched her as she exited the room.
Y/N walked half way down the stairs before halting suddenly, as she heard Allison and Vanya in a pretty heated conversation.
"You know what? You're probably better off here." Vanya said, trying to help Allison in this situation in any way she can.
"No, I'm probably better off with my daugter." Allison snapped.
Y/N's face contorted into a deep cofusion as to what sparked this conversation.
"Of course, um... I'm sorry I didn't-" Vanya started.
"You know, if I wanted advice, Vanya, no offense, it wouldn't be from you."
Y/N felt anger rise to a dangerous level inside of her. Vanya was just trying to help, but she decided to hold out. At least for now.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Vanya asked, clearly hurt.
"You don't have a child. I mean, you've never even been in a relationship." That's when Y/N decided to continue her journey down the stairs at a quicker pace. She stopped at the bottom step, looking over at the two and observing what was going on.
