A wave of sadness came over the girl as the memory faded away, and she turned her attention back to the scene in front of her."Just out of rehab..." Allison said disapprovingly as Klaus retracted his wrist from her.
"Noooo, no, no, no, no, I'm done with all that." Klaus laughed nervously and he tugged at the band on his wrist.
"Mhmm. Is that why you've been there three times in the past two months?" Y/N said in a mocking tone while she leant against the doorframe with her arms crossed. Making her presence known.
She's been trying to get Klaus clean for years. Trying to get him to sort his life out. Klaus was her best friend and it tore her up to watch him ruin his life right in front of her. She's tried everything but nothing seems to be working.
"Y/N! If it isn't my favourite sist-" He paused. "No offence Allison. Y/NNN!" He dragged out her name as she rolled her eyes playfully at him. Walking over to him and giving him a hug.
"Klaus." She said in greeting.
"I just came down here to prove to myself that the old man was really gone.." He said, pretending to choke back tears. Y/N raised an eyebrow at him. "And he is! He's dead! Yayy!" He cheered and clapped as Y/N started laughing at the blue eyed boy in front of her.
"You know how I know? Cause if he was alive. Not one of us. Would be allowed to set FOOT, in this room." Klaus said in a 'matter of factly' way.
"That's very true." Y/N shook her head with a smile on her face as she looked up from a piece of parchment she was inspecting.
"Thank you." Klaus agreed as he held his hand out towards her. "He was always in here our whole childhood, planning his next torment." He continued as he sat down in Dads office chair and put his feet up. "Remember how he used to look at us-" He pointed to the painting above his head. "That scowl. Thank Christ he's not our real father so we couldn't inherit those cold dead eyes!"
Y/N Laughed at the boy, leaning against the desk for support. She swatted him with her hands.
"Shush." She laughed as the boy continued.
"Number three. Number eigh-" He mimicked their father before he was cut off.
"Get out of his chair." Luther said coldly as he entered the room.
Everyone in the room turned to him as Y/N let out a laugh at how highly Luther thought of their Father when all he ever did was torture them.
"Oh wow. Luther. Wow you really uh... You really filled out over the years huh." Klaus said in shock of Luther.
"Klaus-" Luther started.
"I- Save the lecture. Y/N and I were already leaving. So you guys can um.. Talk amongst yourselves." Klaus siad as he walked over and grabbed Y/N gently by the arm. Pulling her along after him towards the door. That was until Luther stopped them.
"Drop it." Luther said sternly.
"Exsqueez me?" Klaus responded, as if he didn't know what Luther was talking about.
"Do it. Now." Luther repeated his request.
Y/N laughed as Klaus looked almost offended. She really did love Klaus. He's hilarious. Sure, he has his imperfections but, everyone does. It's just a matter of looking past them.
"Alright." Klaus snapped frustratingly. "It's just. An advance. On our inheritance. That's all it is! There's no need to get your little panties in a bunch." He concluded while he dropped expensive looking objects onto the floor carelessly. Walking over as he hooked his arm into Y/N's and dragged her along once again out the door.
