MS. STEVENSON: Clark! Clark Kent!
CLARK: Uh.. yes, Ms. Stevenson?
MS. STEVENSON: Looks like you daydream your way to another perfect score.
Inside the classroom, the teacher, Mrs. Stevenson, was distributing the students' Math test. The most recognizable students in class were Clark Kent, Lana Lang, and Pete Ross.
Mrs. Stevenson gave Clark's A+ Math test.
LANA: Once again, the boy genius performs himself to his usual standards.
MS. STEVENSON: And so did you, Ms. Lang.
Mrs. Stevenson haded Lana her D- test paper. Lana just cringed in disgust when she looked at her score. Lastly, Mrs. Stevenson handed the last test paper to Pete.
PETE: Seriously!? I've studied all night for the math test and all I got was a D?!
LANA: Welcome to the club, pal.
Later in the afternoon, the bell rang for dismissal as all the students exited the school immediately.
PETE: I gotta go. See you guys tomorrow.
LANA and CLARK: Bye, Pete.
Pete walked home while Clark and Lana stayed behind. Lana soon began to notice that something was bothering Clark.
LANA: Hey, Clark. Is everything alright?
CLARK: I don't know, Lana. I've been feeling kinda weird lately. In the last few months, I've been... hearing things?
LANA: (*chuckle) Isn't that what ordinary people do?
CLARK: No. This is different, Lana. It's not just that, I could see things too.
Clark began to use his new found powers, X-ray vision, through the school gym. He sees students putting on decorations inside with Mrs. Stevenson on the ladder putting decorations on the ceiling.
CLARK: In the gym, I can see Mrs. Stevenson inside putting decorations for the dance. Somebody should be holding that ladder.
LANA: You're saying you could see through walls? So how many times have you peek inside the girls locker room?
CLARK: LANA!
LANA: I'm just kidding... geez.
CLARK: It's not a joke, Lana. I'm going through a bad time right now. Wait, listen... do you hear that?
LANA: Hear what?
Using his Super-hearing, Clark noticed an speeding car losing its control on the road.
CLARK: Call am ambulance! There's gonna be an accident!
LANA: Clark, wait!
Before Lana could say anything, Clark began to use his Super-speed running his way to the scene leaving Lana behind, who just widened her eyes and dropped her jaws witnessing Clark's abilities for the first time.
The car kept losing control then soon later crashed into a gasoline station with a gasoline truck parked nearby. The civilians near the station panicked and ran for their lives but the people inside the car were trapped.
In only just a few seconds, Clark arrived at the gas station to save the people who were trapped in the vehicle.
Using his super strength, Clark managed to pulled out the door grabbing the two civilians out of the car and quickly ran away from the gasoline station to safety.
