When someone's heart is broken it not only breaks the relationship.. It breaks the person too.

"No Megan, you cannot use bleach to whiten your teeth". My best friend is the weirdest person alive, she thinks that just because bleach can..well you know, bleach your clothes it can whiten her teeth if she used it. "Just think of it Vetly, we'd seriously be noticed around school, we'd be the school genius".

"Megan why can't you drop this, and don't say we, say you, your the one tryna make Justin talk to you like why can't you give up on him already". Megan seriously has gone bonkers if she thinks I'm gonna spend my last year in high school planning weird meet-ups for her and Justin she needs to stop drooling over him. I turned around from my locker to see Megan staring in hers like she's frozen or something, ughh not againn. "Hellooo earth to Megan!!" I was was waving my hand in front of Megan's face and that didn't even get her attention.

I looked over her shoulder in her locker to see Justin's picture glued to her locker door. This girl will not stop this madness. "Okayyy.. I'll try to get Justin to meet you at our secret lake but you owe me big time!".

"Eeeeh!!!! thank you! I was wondering when you were gonna say that, girl we may be immortal but damn is it hard to not breathe for that long". I locked my locker and rolled my eyes at Megan's comment. I can't believe she was faking it, I was seriously gonna start shaking her.

*School bell goes off*

"See you at lunch Vetly, I got math class and  I can't be late because the last time I was late, Mr. Fredrick said he'd call my parents and you know how'd that go".

Megan started running down the hallway almost bumping into maxwell, the school's playboy. I'd so wish if she had tripped him.

" Like what you see baby?".

I looked up and saw maxwell standing right in front of me. Any human seeing that would start screaming or be impressed but luckily I'm neither so I just walked right past him.

I can't believe the nerve of him, he really thinks that so-called charm of his can fool me.

"I know you want me!!" Who'd want a rich bastard like you idiot, I gave Maxwell a sour look and walked off to my class. I walked into my Spanish class quite early so I got to choose which seat I'd sit in.

Before I knew it everyone was in class, right as the last bell was supposed to ring. The teacher came inside and started taking the register. Everyone in the class was talking to each other except me. No one talked to me because I was poor and as some say defective. I was born with rear genetics, but no one quite understood it.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a big commotion in the hallway. The teacher got out to look and well we did too.

Everyone went out, but when I looked it was only Prince Theodore of the Vampire clan. Everyone knelt as he passed and girls fawned over him. I never really quite got why girls did that but I knelt in respect to the soon-to-be vampire king.

He stopped in front of me and kicked the books that I had in my hands away. Honestly, I'd be pissed if it was a regular vampire but I guess he can do whatever he wants, dick head. He continued down the corridor and we all went back in and continued our lesson.

The day went on and finally, it was lunchtime. I rushed out of my maths class and went straight to the cafeteria to find Megan.

When I went to the cafeteria I couldn't see Megan anywhere so I just decided to collect my lunch and go outside. Some humans still believe that vampires can't go out in the daylight, which seems so bizarre because we actually can. I walked over to the oak tree in the schoolyard and sat under it. I was eating my lunch when Katlin and her mini patrols walked by. Those girls could get any boy they liked around the school, and they could also make anyone's life a living hell.

That's why I made sure to stay out of their way. They are described as the school's pretty cool and popular kids. Katlin had long black hair that touched her shoulders with a height of 5'8. She could easily tower me with my little height of 5'6.

I was halfway through my lunch and there was still no sight of Megan, I wonder where she could be, she knows that we always meet up at the oak tree. I checked my watch and saw that I had 30 minutes left for lunch. I finished eating and threw my napkins away. All I ate for lunch was an Apple and a sandwich, I don't have enough money to buy anything else so I guess I just had to work with that.

I started walking around the school to see if I could find Megan. Since I've been practicing my speed, I decided  I'd try to take a run around the school to find her. It didn't take long to check around the school but I still couldn't find her. I checked all the basic places she would have been.

I saw Justin's friends walked by me but when I looked there was no Justin, and that's when it clicked to me that maybe she's at the back of the school with him. I ran to the back of the school but stopped right around the corner so I wouldn't run into something I shouldn't have. I peeked around the corner to see Megan kissing Someone, I was not expecting that at all.

My best friend was making out with someone. I couldn't quite see the face of the person but he looked familiar. This just doesn't add up, the person Morgan was kissing doesn't have the same hair as Justin.

This person had dark brown hair while Justin's hair was a lighter shade of brown. What am I gonna do, I can't just walk up to them while they're making out, it would seem awkward.

This is all too much, I looked around the corner again to see Megan and her unknown lover getting more heated in their make-out. I looked on my watch and saw that I had five minutes left to get to class.

Interrupting them and having to ask questions is gonna take too long. I'll just have to wait until this evening to ask her about it. I quickly ran to my biology class, reaching only one minute before the teacher.

I took my seat and started taking out my books. I wonder who Megan was kissing. It clearly was not Justin and that in itself made me worried.

Was my friend in love with someone else and wasn't telling me and if yes, who.
