On a planet much like Earth, the sun rises on a crisp spring morning. On a continent dubbed Kethell, the bustle of a town gradually builds. Although, a nearby forest stays quiet through the early hours of the day.

Around noon, a one-eyed, humanoid creature known as a cretus, with a lime green tetrahedron for a head, plants his talons on the ground and rises from his sleeping bag on the floor of his tent, his grayish-black, bird-like legs and similar looking arms protruding from his lavender, furry, lampshade-like torso. Sleepy-eyed, he stretches and wraps a tattered, yellow cloak around his torso, fastening a button at the top before stepping outside.

Around him stands a dense collection of trees, a small, half finished log shack, and another tent. He walks to the other tent and shakes it. "Up up, Oggy. It's Saturday."

Saturday is a special day for this creature and his friend, Ogden. Students at the local high school are not in attendance at this time of the week, which gives two forest-dwelling creti like themselves an opportunity to break in and use the showers.

A muffled grunt is heard from the tent. "Alright, just give me a moment." Ogden says.

Inside of his tent, Ogden, a creti bearing a red dodecahedron for a head and a torso of orange, sifts through piles of his belongings until he finds a bath towel, wash cloths, and a bottle of body wash.

After covering himself with an identical cloak, he exits the tent and shortly after, Ackely, his friend, exits his tent with the same items, with the inclusion of a lock pick set. They both cram everything into a green drawstring bag and start pushing their bikes until they reach a road.

"Remember what happened last week," Ackely says. "Police'll probably be waiting somewhere."

"Yeah, no worries though." Ogden says. "We'll sneak in through the top."

"How will we get up?"

"I spotted a vent on the side of the building. We'll climb up."

"Ah, I see. Well, let's get a move on then." They start down the road on their bikes, singing a cheery tune and eagerly awaiting their weekly cleansing.

After a few minutes of pedalling, the two round a corner to see a large building with the words Blum High painted on the front. Creti in police uniforms stand at the entrance. One looks stern, with an orange tetrahedron for a head, while the other, more apathetic looking officer, leans against the wall, her lavender, cube shaped head drooping to her left with boredom.

Ogden points to a vine of metal, snaking up the side of the building. "There's the vent, see?"

"Yep." Ackely sees the policemen at the front doors. "We should probably coast along the treeline," he says. Ogden agrees and they pedal along the treeline until they reach the vent.

With the drawstrings of his bag around his torso, Ackely climbs up the vent with Ogden following behind. When the two reach the top, they spot a door to a stairwell leading into the school. Ackely pulls the lock pick set from the bag and attempts to unlock the door. After a few minutes of nothing, Ackely turns to Ogden.
"I can't get it. You try."

He starts to hand the tools to Ogden when they both hear a bump from where they had climbed up.

They turn their heads sharply, holding their breath. They hear the bump twice more, sounding closer each time. Silently, they dash behind the stairwell. Ogden turns to Ackely. "Listen," he whispers, "I've got a plan."

After a few moments, the stern looking policeman reaches the top and stands on the roof. Ackely fakes a shallow cough, catching the officer's attention. He lurches towards the stairwell, and as the two hear the policeman's soft steps progress closer, they brace.
