Alarms ring from both tents back at camp. Ogden looks at the time on the alarm clock, which reads 6:30.

"Good mercy."

Sluggishly, he rises from his sleeping bag and steps outside to find Ackely eating cereal out of a box in a lawn chair, still half asleep.

"Morning, Oggy." he says.

"Mm."

Ogden slowly walks near Ackely, sits down in an adjacent chair, and grabs a handful of cereal out of the box. The two quietly crunch a few more handfuls of cereal as the minutes pass.

At 6:42, the two grab their laptops and wallets and head toward the café.

"It's a wonder nobody has taken these jobs." Ackely says.

Ogden chuckles, "Ackely, we're working 15 hours. This is a horrible job."

"Why did we take it then?"

"We'll earn enough money for the tickets by tomorrow. We'll probably have to carry each other by the end of it, but we'll have the money."

The two arrive at the café and the cashier greets them happily. "Ah, good morning, boys! There's a few lockers in the back where you can put your things. Follow me."

The two follow the cashier through the kitchen and into the back of the café. Among the piles of crates and sacks lies a small collection of lockers. "I suspected you two wouldn't bring much, so I've only gotten one key," the cashier says, pulling a key from his pocket. "18." The cashier hands the key to Ackely and Ackely nods. "Well, I'll see you two later." The cashier begins to walk back to the front of the café, but turns back to them just before entering the kitchen. "Oh, and ask Carrol what you're supposed to do. I'm not entirely sure."

Ackely turns to Ogden. "Hand me your stuff. I'll put it up while you ask what our work is."

Ogden nods, hands his things to Ackely, and heads towards the manager's office. Once he reaches the door, he knocks. With no reply, Ogden opens the door to find the manager asleep in her chair. "Uh, miss?"

She snorts slightly and her eyelid raises. Her scratchy voice lurches from her throat to ask, "You're one of the boys from yesterday, right?"

"Correct."

She adjusts herself in her seat. "Lovely. You two'lll be running some errands. First, you're gonna fetch some coffee beans from the warehouse a little ways from here."

She puts a key and a slip of paper on the desk. "There's a truck outside you can use for transport. These are the directions to the warehouse. Got all that?"

"Yep."

"Good. Come back when you're done."

Ogden meets Ackely by the lockers. He relays the information and the two head outside. "Just getting coffee beans? This should be a breeze!" Ackely says.

"Don't be too optimistic. There has to be a reason so many spots were open."

Wandering further into the parking lot, they spot a semi-trailer truck. Ogden locks the doors and slides behind the steering wheel with Ackely in the seat beside him . As he drives, Ackely helps with the directions and guides him to their destination.

After a few minutes of driving, Ackely spots the warehouse. "There! To the right!"

"Aha! I see!" Ogden drives into the parking area and parks, and the two exit the vehicle.

A man with a hardhat spots them and walks towards them. "Hello! You're here with the café, yes?" The two nod in unison. "Well, the coffee beans are just over there. Jerry, the yellow cube head there, he'll help you load 'em up."
