quarantine

March 2020

Chase, Maddie, Drew, Rudy, and Elaine were all in Maddie's apartment hanging out and watching the basketball game.

While the game was on commercials, Rudy decided to switch the channel to the news channel to see what was going on in the world. 

"BREAKING NEWS: US BORDERS NOW CLOSED DUE TO THE SPREAD OF THE CORONAVIRUS"the tv read.

"what the fuck is going on" elaine said, confused.

"MANDATORY STAY AT HOME ORDER TO GO IN EFFECT FRIDAY." the tv also read.

"y'all what does this mean?" maddie asked.

"it means we have to stay in our homes and we're not  allowed outside unless we're going to the store or there is an emergency" chase responded.

"what if we all just quarantine together? so we don't have to be alone" drew suggested.

"yeah that's sounds like a great idea. we could do it here!" maddie replied.

"i'm in if y'all are in" chase said.

the group all agreed and decided to plan what they were going to do and how they were going to fit 5 people in maddie's one bedroom apartment.

4 weeks later....

maddie and chase had grown significantly closer throughout the past couple of weeks they've been quarantined together for. they were already close since shooting outer banks but this time it was different. they were flirting constantly and smiling from ear to ear when they were next to one another.

rudy, elaine, and drew decided to go grocery shopping after seeing maddie's fridge almost empty. maddie was in the shower and chase decided to stay back to finish watching a tv show. after maddie got ready and out of the shower, she saw chase sitting on the couch watching some netflix.

"what are you watching?" maddie asked him.

chase smiled. "tiger king."

"ooh can i watch it with you?"

chase patted the spot next to him as maddie came walking towards the spot. she snuggled closer to him as he adjusted her head on his lap. chase sat there, admiring the girl in front of him. he was looking at her, watching how her hand twirled strings of her hair and how she was so focused on the tv.

"mads"

she turned to look at him. "hmm?"

"your gorgeous" he said smiling at her.

"stooppp" she said looking away, clearly blushing.

"i'm serious" he said.

"look mads, i like you. and i don't know if you like me back but these past couple of weeks made me realize how much i do an-" he spilled.

maddie interrupted him and grabbed his face. she slowly leant in and kissed him softly, but passionately. she pulled away, smiling from ear to ear.
"i like you too" mads said smiling cheerfully

"so, do you wanna maybe try this out?" chase said pointing between them.

maddie pulled him in for another kiss as her response. she cuddled into him, her head on his chest, and continued to watch tiger king. they layed there peacefully waiting for the others to come back.

authors note: sorry it took me so long to update lmao. i've been busy and focusing on my health but i'm gonna be trying to update more on here. i also need ideas so please comment so if y'all have any <3
