"Lisa!"

Lisa jumped a little at the sound of one of her co-worker's calling her name. She had been so lost in thoughts she hadn't hear what the other woman had told her, which made said woman roll her eyes as she crossed her arms around her chest.

"I said Jennie asked me to tell you to bring her coffee. That asshole thinks I'm some kind of homing pigeon or something." The woman who was at least ten years older than herself shook her head a few times before turning around, leaving Lisa with unsaid words on the tip of her tongue. Although, she'd bet Mina would have just told her to fuck herself if she asked her to do it.

Of course Jennie would want her to bring her stupid coffee to her stupid office, ready to tell her some stupid lie and hoping she'd get her naked and spread in her stupid glass desk.

Lisa knew the older woman would abuse of her power position to try and talk to her. And God knows she would quit if that wasn't the job she had always dreamed about. Jennie's firm was the biggest promote company out there, they promoted several famous artists and brands and to work there was the dream of everyone with a business and marketing degree. And even though she was still stuck doing copies and serving coffee, it still made her awfully happy because she knew she had to start from the bottom to the top. She wished she hadn't been stupid enough to ruin her dream job by opening her legs to her boss.

Letting out a long, tired sigh, she stood up from her chair and made her way to the coffee room. While making Jennie's coffee, she could see how two women dressed in pencil skirts and dress shirts, whispered things to each other and muffled their laughters only to pretend they were not talking about her when she turned her head to look at them.

Great, those women probably knew she was Jennie's new bitch. And not only them but probably the whole building. As if she wasn't feeling shitty enough! She could feel her heartbeat increase as they continued talking to each other in whispers and before she knew it, she was digging her nails into the palm of her hands. It hurt but she didn't care, she wanted to feel the pain, it would remind her not to jump head first next time someone attractive winked their stupid brown eyes at her.

As soon as the coffee was ready, she grabbed the paper cup and left the room, keeping her head down to keep herself from seeing those bitches' smirks. How could they know? Did Jennie announce it to the whole company? Did she send a collective note saying she's got a new toy? Was it Chaeyoung? Maybe she did it out of jealousy? Or maybe, just maybe, she was just too damn obvious.

Taking another deep breath, she knocked on the door of Jennie's office and waited until she heard a 'Come in' to open it and get inside. She didn't even close the door, since she was just going to leave the coffee on the desk and leave and she made sure to keep her eyes on the paper cup to avoid Jennie. She put it Jennie's glass desk and was about to turn around to leave when Jennie grabbed her wrist, stopping her from doing so.

"Lisa, stay. We need to talk."

Lisa tried to break free from Jennie's grip and Jennie squeezed harder, keeping her there. "Let go of me!" She whisper-yelled.

"We need to talk." Jennie repeated, standing up but still not letting go of the younger woman's thin wrist.

"Is it work related?" Lisa asked, lifting an eyebrow. "Because if it's not then I don't have any interest in hearing what you have to say."

Jennie let go of Lisa's wrist and walked to the door, closing and locking it. "Well, you will listen to me whether you like it or not, so sit down." She was using that dominating tone that always got Lisa to do whatever she wanted.

But not this time. Lisa would not give her the satisfaction, so she just crossed her arms around her chest and stood there, glaring at Jennie. "Open the door or I swear I'll scream."
