Isabel's father came up behind Thomas and tapped him on the shoulder. Scared, Thomas turned around.
"You showed incredible bravery there, but you are not yet worthy of my Isabel, you'll have to do much more to prove you love her."
"Father, please understand, I love him, and he just risked his life for me, I think hes worthy."
"Well you would do but I don't not yet. You can be around her today but I'll be watching, you'll need to prove yourself before you leave."

It was only midday, Thomas had eight hours to prove himself but he had many more ideas.
"Isabel, Lady Isabel!"
"Yes Thomas?"
"Would you like to go for a ride around the grounds with me?"

Isabel's father heard and made the groundskeeper get their horses but tasked him with going with them.
As they mounted their horses, they couldnt take their eyes off of each other.

They set off around the grounds passed the fountains and the general lifeless body. They can to a stop on the sandy bank if the lake. Thomas jumped off and helped the love of his life off of the horse.

They sat down and the groundskeeper jumped into the tree to keep an eye on them.

They were sitting talking but they didn't know what would happen next and this time surely Thomas would be worthy.

Lady Isabel and Thomas were about to leave when the groundskeeper fell out of the tree. He kicked Isabel in the face and sent her tumbling into the lake. Being the daughter of a lord she was never taught how to swim. Without thinking Thomas threw off his coat and shoes. He dived in after Isabel just as she started to sink. He grabbed her by the waist and swam to the surface. Struggling to keep himself afloat, Thomas went under and lifted Isabel above onto the sandy banks.
"Groundskeeper, take her away from the edge!" Shouted Thomas as he pulled himself onto land. He lied next to Isabel as she started coughing up water.

"Help me get her on the back of my horse" ordered Thomas. He was frightened that he was going to lose her. "We need to get her back to the house and then you can give you report to the Lord"
