And here I was! L.A.! This felt as if I got reincarnated as a junkie from Los Angeles but sadly I'm not.
I walked out of the airport and stood still in front of the sliding glass doors feeling amazed like a child. Maybe I will make money for once and become rich?
Who.
Am.
I.
Kidding?Who would hire me to begin with?
Just as I thought that to myself it started to rain. Scenic and a classic.
"Shit, I gotta find a homeless shelter or at least a place to sleep the rain away without my belongings getting stolen."Food, food should be my priority but when I finally got into more or less the main city of god knows where in L.A. I realised most of the restaurants here are out of my budget...I mean even the biggest shit hole is.
I guess dumpster diving it is.
I looked around for the nearest restaurant dumpster. Just I was to jump in it for food I stopped myself.
"Maybe I should try? Maybe someone will hire me? No doubt that they might reconsider it but the highest chance of me getting hired is about 10%"Do they have mcdonald's here? I know I sound stupider than I really am but dies such a chique place have those?
I felt my phone buzz in my ass pocket so I took it out and saw that an unknown number was calling. Of course I had to pick up.
"Hello?"
"Hey there...euh..Steven! I saw you just arrived in L.A.! I will send one of my men to pick you up so they can bring you here!"
"Sorry but I think you got the wrong steven."
...
...
"Of course not! You just arrived with the place that came from that small country somewhere in the east right?"I couldn't believe what was happening. Was this a joke? Did someone really eye me down?
"So where are you my boy?"
"Euh, a restaurant called Baggett, I think it's french for something?"
"Oh you mean baguette! That's a bakery that a small french man started years ago! Anyways my men will shortly pick you up."And of course he hung up. This was too much I formation to process. Its impossible it's a relative of mine...maybe it's not? There is a whole part of my family I don't know about that I've never heard much about.
I was so deep in thought I haven't realised that a car has pulled up in front of me, probably the car that that guy sent to pick me up. Oh well if I die I won't lose much now.
