Suman was shocked to hear this. There was no way Shravan told him. But she decided to face it anyways.

"Aacha? Tell me then, what did he say?"

" That you both were love birds back in school." Pushkar said, smirking.
"Wow Sumo. Matlab self study ke naam pe ye sab hota tha kyu?"

"Shut up Pushkar" Sumo said getting a little red.

"But what happened after that? Please this is too much Sumo. You've got to spill the beans now. Tumhe pata hai even Badi Maa is worried now."

"Listen to me Pushkar. Do not ask me anything. Go and ask your brother and see if he tells you anything. I don't want to talk about this." Suman scoffed and started walking away.

"Just tell me one thing Sumo"

"Kya? "

"Do you still love him?"

He asked her and she froze. She turned towards him, her eyes shimmering with tears.

"Can you read eyes Pushkar?"
She asked trying hard not to spill in tears.

"Mujhse jhoot nahi bola jata" She answered with tears streaming down her eyes.

Shravan saw Pushkar and Suman talking something which seemed very serious as they looked nowhere close to enjoying the party. He saw Suman walking away and his phone rang. He reached out his pocket to grab it when someone collided him.

He held onto the person and, it was Suman.

"Sumo!!"He said as he held her from falling down. In all that mess, the ring in the finger got stuck in his suit. She tried moving away but the ring didn't seem to get away.
Shravan saw her struggling when he noticed the ring.

*FLASHBACK*

"What is it Shravan?"She said as she entered the canteen.

"Surprise hai tumhare liye" Shravan smiled.

"What is it?" Suman asked excitedly.

"Ye.." I handed it to her

" This is so pretty" Suman gasped looking at the beautiful silver ring with a small opal embedded in it.

" Where did you get this?" Suman asked as she looked at it with glee.

"We were at the fair yesterday? And you were looking at these? I bought it from there. This is the only one which looked decent" Shravan said. Among all the rings having butterflies and vibrant colours, this was the best.

"Kya??" Shravan asked as Sumo stretched out her hand towards him.
"Well you bought it so.." Suman smiled suggestively.

"Suree" Shravan smiled and slid the ring.
"It's a bit tight" Suman said, pushing the ring forward.

"Aab toh subah utha karo exercise ke liye. Atleast it will fit then." Shravan teased to which he received a whack.

"Listen mister, Even if I am fat or thin, this ring ain't going anywhere from my hand" Suman said as she waved her hand in front of his face and tipped his nose.

*FLASHBACK OVER*

The flashback hit them as they stayed watching each other.

"You still have the ring Sumo. And yet you say there is nothing between us? "

"Regardless of what is between us right now, I don't break my promises."

She said as she ripped the ring stuck in his coat knocking the button and left.
