Marinette headed to Headmaster Wayne as soon as she entered, flanked by Marion and Bridgette, this received some curious looks towards them but they ignored them.
When they got to the teacher's desk, Headmaster Wayne stood up, silencing the hall. "Welcome back to another year at Hogwarts, this year, we have three new students from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and I hope you will welcome them with open arms."
He then proceeded to tell them to put on the hat on the stool in front of them, Marion went first, as soon as he put the hat on, it yelled, "Gryffindor!" All the Gryffindors cheered.
Bridgette went next, getting sorted into Hufflepuff to cheers from the Hufflepuff table. Marinette went next getting sorted into Ravenclaw, also getting cheers. Marinette looked down the Ravenclaw table and sat next to the black haired boy she had seen earlier.
She turned to look at the boy and introduced herself, "Hi! My name's Marinette Kwamii, 3rd year, nice to meet you." The boy turned to her with a smile and a light pink dusting his cheeks. "Tim. Tim Drake-Wayne." They had a nice conversation before the first-years arrived.
Professor Prince, the DADA professor and deputy headmistress, enter the hall, first-years trailing behind her lost puppies.
As the hat sorted the first years, Marinette explained how Beauxbatons was to Tim while he told her the "joys" of having so many siblings and being the son of the headmaster. She told him about her best friends, Alya, Nino, Luka, Kagami, Adrien and Chloe. She also told him about her two siblings.
They had chatted annoying siblings until Bridgette came over to the Ravenclaw table from the Hufflepuff one to talk to Mari, "Mari, I have your coffee." Marinette shot Bridgette such a blinding smile Tim wasn't sure how Bridgette could still see. Bri passed Mari a thermal flask and whispered in her ear, "Teaming up this year, right sis?"
Mari nodded her head with excitement and replied with, "Marion has to judge I guess." Bridgette snickered and nodded, "Though he won't get caught in the crossfire, pity I wanted to see him with pink hair again."
Bridgette giggled and left to tell Marion something, "Team? Judge? Crossfire?" Tim was very confused by the conversation, Marinette suddenly looked like she had just remember something. "Oh right, you don't know, it's a prank war between me and my friends, I teamed up with Chloe last year. It ended when Marion got pink hair."
"Oh yeah," Marinette said again, "I'm a metamorphoser so I can change my appearance at will." Tim's eyes lit up at that.
