"So, we have to decide," The triplets were sitting together in the Great Hall discussing their holiday plans. They were currently seated at the Ravenclaw table next to Tim. Who was listening to their conversation and making helpful points. Marion and Bridgette had made fast friends with Tim and soon had told him about the Lila problem.Tim had been really mad at that point, also ready to go tell his siblings or his adopted dad before the triplets had told him not to and he agreed, however reluctantly. It was a surprise he told them, that his siblings had left him alone for most of the year, but then again, he said, it was probably because he was socializing.
Tim had questioned them about their patronuses, Bridgette's was a black cat and Marion's a dog. The triplets had been teaching him how to make his own patronus, which was a elephant. They had been practicing in secret of course, so other students wouldn't be bombarding them with questions.
By the end of the month, Tim could successfully produce a talking patronus, and for good practice, instead of owls, they used their patronuses to send messages. Tim was the second one in the family to perfect the spell, after Bruce, although Alfred had done it before. He hadn't told his siblings about being able to produce a patronus though Alfred probably knew.
Who was he kidding, Alfred knows all.
"I'm staying for the holidays, it would be a hassle to go back to the manor and come back on Christmas," Tim piped in after a while, he thought he ought to tell them. The triplets shared glances with each other, silently communicating with each other. They had told Tim about the mind link they shared, and Tim was slightly annoyed with it sometimes.
"Well if you're staying we're too." Tim was slightly shocked by Marinette's statement, but again, she had a big heart. Tim sometimes wondered whether she should've been put in Hufflepuff with Bridgette. That was something Tim liked about Marinette, she was outgoing and kind, not to mention extremely intelligent.
She had confided in him that the hat contemplated whether to put her in Slytherin, Hufflepuff or Gryffindor but she told him that she liked it where she was and wouldn't give it up to be with her siblings. They had of course hung out in his dorm a lot, giving a lot of people the wrong idea about their relationship.
Marinette didn't have a lot of friends he had heard from Marion, it was just their little group. Marinette, Bridgette and Marion, there were other people as well, ones he hadn't met but had a good impression on them. Marinette or Nettie as he called her, told him that both her siblings were in relationship, Bridgette or Bri was dating a guy named Luka and Marion or Rion dating a girl called Chloe. Both of which were in their friend group.
Now that Tim had joined the "cult" as they said, they had invited him over for the holidays, and he had to take part in their secret santa, which was normally delivered by owl post. Marinette told him that she had gotten a book of puns from her brother, it was rather obvious who gave it to her seeing as Marion seemed to know what her present was before she opened it.
Tim had to get Bridgette something for his secret santa and he had gotten her a book on cats. He had received letters from the others in their cult and he thought them as pen pals, although Nettie was sent a howler when she got injured in a quidditch match. She had tried out last year and successfully got the seeker position.
Flashback to the howler incident
The duo were sitting at the Ravenclaw table during breakfast when the mail arrived, Nettie flinched when she saw a familiar barn owl that belonged to Kagami, the girl herself was studying in Durstrang which her boyfriend Adrien. Tim had wrote to her the previous day about Nettie's injury, though it wasn't serious.
"Marinette whatever the hell your middle name is Kwamii!" It yelled, several people, including the other Kwamiis and Tim, flinched at her loud voice, "What were you thinking! Do you know how worried I was when Tim sent a letter telling me you were injured!" Nettie looked at Tim in betrayal, while he shrugged.
"Sorry about Kagami Nettie, you know how worried she can get," a softer voice interjected Kagami, a male voice which was most likely Adrien's, "She's just worried about you, we all are, anyways your lucky it wasn't Chloe who sent this letter, don't worry we won't tell her," Nettie sighed in relief, "I'll see you during the holidays."
The howler burst into flames while Bri and Rion made their way over from their house tables, "Top ten anime betrayals Nettie," Rion commented while nodding his head in Tim direction, Bri and Tim laughed at Nettie's face.
That was a week ago, he was waiting for the family night that the Waynes would have every 1st December to be bombarded with questions about his new friends, Dick was in seventh year, Jason in his sixth, Cass and Steph in their fifth, Duke in his third and Damien in his first year. He was definitely getting a full interrogation and he was not looking forward to it.
Note: Hi, sorry about the messiness of the chapter, hopefully I didn't forget any bats. It was originally going to be about the Christmas holidays but I feel that this might be better, sorry again for procrastinating on the chapter.
