Chapter 3 Part 2 - The Losing King in Granlu

  King Granlu threw his mug across the room and asked for more wine. He focused on the game while Mira was laid back in her seat.

  Wine in a mug? thought Mira, what a strange way of drinking win... most royals use wine glasses for wine. I'm pretty sure King Granlu does the same thing. What happened to you King Granlu?

  "It's your turn, Princess Miranko," said King Granlu.

  "Oh, it is," said Mira. She looked at the board, and then at King Granlu. "None of the chess pieces have moved from the last time I went."

  King Granlu's eyes glowed bright orange and said, "And never have you.."

  Mira looked at her hands and feet. She was duct taped to the chair. Wh-what is this?, thought Mira. Mira looked at King Granlu and asked, "What is this?"

  "It's duct tape. You don't know what it is?" asked King Granlu.

  "I've never used such a thing. Never needed it," said Mira.

  "Well, I have," said King Granlu as he threw a knife at Mira.

  Mira disappeared into golden dust as the Knife hit the seat of the chair.

  Golden dust? thought King Granlu. He looked around and commanded his guards, "GO FIND HER! AND DON'T COME BACK UNTIL YOU HAVE HER DEAD!"

  "The dark rose princess rises again," said King Granlu.

  As the guards ran down the stairs, Mikhalo, Loelie, Aragami, and Anastasia shot arrows at the Yakamoshi guards, and some at the Granlu guards.

  King Granlu walked the halls with a knife in his hand that scratched the walls of his castle. He scanned the hallways until he got to his room.

  "I know~ you're here~... Princess," said King Granlu as he said it creepily.

  Then, Mira's voice echoed in the room. "You'll never find me."

King Granlu stabbed his chair as Mira appeared behind him.

"You missed," said Mira.

King Granlu grabbed Mira with both of his hands and threw her out of his room and to the ballroom. Mira's feet slid on the floor quite hard.

King Granlu walked out of his room and to the stairs. He scanned the room to find Mira, but instead, he found the others. He pointed up to the roof as he told his guards to go after the rest as he fought Mira.

Mira stood on two as she looked up at King Granlu with confidence. Then, at the moment, her eyes glowed and turned bright orange, and transformed into her full from.

Dark rose ears and tails puffed out as large dark rose wings rose to the sky. The aura Mira had was a very dark rose and filled the room with darkness.

Gerri's eyes opened wide as he watched it happen in front of him. What- is she? thought Gerri. He ran behind a pillar and watched the fight behind.

Magic was thrown across the room back and forth, while Loelie, Aragami, Mickey, and Anastasia fought with the guards.

"We shouldn't kill them. We should at least injure the Granlu guards," said Loelie.

"What about the Yakamoshi guards?" asked Aragami.

"We kill those one. Unless..." said Loelie.

"Unless what?" asked Mickey.

"Unless you see a blue aura on the Yakamoshi guards, right?" asked Anastasia.

"Yeah, you're right. Those blue auras show that those guards need to be alive," said Loelie as she shot an arrow at the Yakamoshi guards.

"What happens if we do?" asked Mickey.

"Mira didn't tell me about that. She got quiet when she got there," said Loelie.

"So, you know almost everything," said Aragami.

"Just enough for what Mira needs us for," said Loelie

Then, while they talked and fought, a bright white light filled the room. It shined throughout the kingdom. Families looked up into the sky as the bright light shined all around them.

Queen Meldelian looked out the window and said, "One down... more to go. Yakamoshi, our daughter is more powerful from the last time you've seen her."
