(Bolded words gives a hint where the characters are)

It was a bright and cool day in johto. It was also the first day of fall and the leaves were changing. Some were bright, others dull. There were tall towers, but burned knowledge. The winded dancers were upon the city, flashing their colors for the elemental pokémon.

Water.

Fire.

thunder.

And the bird with rainbow wings.

Then there was the young girl with short, silver hair. Her eyes the color of crystal and dark jade. The one person who knew the scecrets of the unknown. A bit of a bookwork actually. She had studied places far and wide. deep below and up high.

"Grandfather! I'm home!" the silver haired girl cried. "C-Cynda-daquil" the Pokémon trembled as he shivered. "There you two are! I've been looking for you guys all day!" grandfather whined. "I left a note on the table this morning that said me and Lei (cyndaquil/echidna babi) were going to the library. Didn't you see it?" the girl asked. "I perhaps not, Link. I'm sorry." grandfather replied, apologizing.

(Link's pov)
Lei had jumped in grandfather's lap and crawled inside his jacket. "Are you hungry?" grandfather had asked, waving a fall styled poképuff. The smell of it wafted in the air and Lei took a nibble to try it. Of course he tried to shove it in his mouth like always. He always looked cute as a button doing this. "Also look what I got" grandfather said in his sing-song voice. It was a white bag. As I started to open it, my eyes widened and my mouth gaped wide open. "Rage candy bars and malasadas!? But they're so expensive and rare here, how'd you manage!?" I yelled in excitement."I have some colleagues here and there." he said. I hugged him."THANK YOU SO MUCH!" I yelled, again. He chuckled. He stared at the picture behind him and had a saddened grin on his face."My Pokémon used to love malasadas and Rage candy bars. She used to pull my pants leg and beg for one. I wish she was still with me. It's the one thing I could wish for right now." he said."you had a pokémon?" I asked. "Yes but...

Maybe it's time I told you the truth about the adventures I had with my charmander...

...Nikki."

(Has this been good so far? Because this took a while to think about)
